Our clothes come out perfectly each time, with minimal wrinkling (unlike our last dryer that seemed to excel at creating deep wrinkles in clothes), thanks to the steam drying options. We also appreciate that the dryer is fairly quiet and its door can open down or from a side. Overall, we're so happy with our purchase.

Large capacity drum definitely dries my clothes well. Haven't used the steam function yet but like having it as a backup. Had difficulties uploading the dryer to the LG app, but customer service helped remedy the probelm. Glad I upgraded!

Bought pair of washer and dryer. Door on dryer is very helpful. Opens from top to load clothes without dropping them on the floor, then opens from side to remove dried clothes. Very convenient feature.

The machine has a very large capacity and is handsome in appearance and design. The color "black steel" is actually a very smart-appearing graphite grey. One concern is that the clothes are not always dry when the alert goes off.

Posted .This issue is typically caused by 3 separate issues.
1. Dryer is overloaded - Try dividing extra large loads into smaller loads for better drying performance and efficiency.
2. Dyer is underloaded - If you are drying a very small load, add a few extra items to ensure proper tumbling action. The sensor cannot properly sense the load and may shut off too soon. We recommend using a timed dry or add some extra wet clothes to the load.
3. Energy Saver is on - If using the Cotton/Normal cycle, then the Energy Saver is a default option. We recommend deselecting the Energy Saver option. This option reduces energy use by adding an air dry section to the beginning of the cycle.
Lastly, it may be necessary to do a deep cleaning of the lint filter cavity and exhaust vent to remove any obstruction preventing air circulation.
Following these tips will improve and fix the damp spot issue that you are experiencing. ^Jennifer

The sound quality could be a little better as I find it to be louder than my Samsung dryer. I like that the dryer lights up inside so you can always see what is happening.

I really like that the door opens 2 ways. We haven’t tried all the settings yet, but I am excited to try the steam setting to see if that would take put wrinkles.

The dryer does not disappoint. Dries our clothes 3x faster than our aged Samsung. I like the fact that the door opens in two different directions, making it easier to get clothes in and out depending on the size of load. LG is growing on us as this is our 3rd LG appliance.

The difference in the new model is you will be getting a lighter outer frame on your dryer. So much so that when you set your hand on top of the dryer it pops the steel slightly because of the thinner gauge. Also you will find the dimensions of the outside of the dryer is smaller. With this dryer when you open the door the light does not automatically come on. I have to turn the power button on first to engage the light to turn on. This in my opinion is a stupid change in an expensive dryer. I like to open a dryer and see what is inside of it especially if it is full of blacks,

I like the clear door. There is also a light inside. I really like the timer on it so you know when your clothes will be done. I haven't used the steam feature yet but it does come with the y splitter and hose. You will need to buy a power cord.

Great Dryer - Sleek and Easy To Use

I recently moved and upgraded to the larger version. The dryer is super easy to use and has many features. I haven't tried them all but very happy to have them. They will come in handy in the future! The interior light feature at the end of a cycle is great. There is a cute chime as well. It is sleek and very quiet. I love this dryer!
