    Just purchased 2 weeks ago. The drum light does not come on upon opening the door, the light only comes on when the drying cycle is complete or pressing the on button. The light should come on automatically when opening, bad design, thinking about returning it.

    I love it now but it took a minute for us to dry things properly. Our old dryer was super old so the new touchscreen and things were hard for us to learn

    Have only done 10 loads so far, but the machine is incredibly quiet and efficient, with great ergonomics (the front door opens both top down and left to right). AI mode takes away the guessing, and the capacity is impressive. The matte black finish is also very slick.

    Do not buy this model. The lent collection area will catch any drawstrings and damage your clothing. LG claims it is normal, but it isn't. I have never had this issue with any of my old dryers until now. My old LG dryer worked great, but the new model is faulty.

    Replaced our 20 yr old front load Siemens w/d combo with a new top load LG w/d. Was leary about LG but after reading reviews and a recommendation from our family, we decided to purchase both. Very easy installation and operation.
