I even use dryer balls in my dryer. I wS told by the installation tech that it’s because the dryer has sensors. The drum is also less insulated than my 16 year old dryer I just replaced ad I can hear the dryer balls pretty loudly from my garage where the dryer is.

Wonderful dryer!
