You can see my video to see yourself how thin the drum is! Unfortunately I don’t have the receipt. I called the local best buy store it took forever to answer the call!

Lemon LG Dryer

Dryer breaks 13 months in and needs $400 motherboard replacement. We have had Kennmore, Maytag and Whirlpool dryers that have lasted 5-10 years at a time. Won’t buy LG ever again!

LG please take note!! I've given it 4 stars as it really is a good dryer

I usually just dry normal. The light is pretty neat, I was wishing the matching washer had one as well. The flat controls take a bit getting used to as my previous dryer had the controls tilted up so it’s not awkward to use. I do not have a pedestal maybe the increased height would change that. Solid dryer. Let’s hope I don’t have to replace heating elements every few years!

Only issue I have now is that the metal drum is cracking and it’s not an easy fix. Since it’s out of warranty and Best Buy won’t do anything about it (even though I’m a total tech subscriber and it says to reach out to them since it could be replaceable) I had to call LG and they contacted a 3rd party vendor. Vendor didn’t call to schedule, but just sent me a text that morning and I had to take a sick day. Still isn’t fixed because they needed the part, even though I told LG the part that needs to be replaced. Wasted a day and it still isn’t fixed.

However, after receiving the dryer we realized it doesn't have this feature. It was very disappointing that the Best Buy website would have this error. Otherwise it is a fine dryer.
