This dryer is a great replacement for our old 10 year old dryer. I have not tested it much as it was just delivered today. I reconfigured it to vent from the right side using the LG side venting kit. I configured the wifi option and I can run the dryer from my phone which is a cool feature. Hopefully this will last as the dryer it replaced.

This LG clothes dryer got very high marks in the recent Consumers' Report. When we found this very model at a reasonable price at Best Buy, we were pleased. Though it is still very new, I'm enjoying the options, and it seems to be doing a very good job drying items. I'm choosing to give it only 4 stars at this time, because of it's newness. After a few more months, I might be able to give it a 5.

This dryer from LG is pretty good for it's cost. The load size is spot on, and offers many drying options. I especially love the LG ThinQ technology that lets me know when the load is done, especially for those drying cycles that are sensor mode. There are four downsides to this dryer that I have observed so far. First, "more dry" has to be selected so items are not damp when the Normal sensor dry cycle is completed. Second, lint catches inside under the door window due to how the lint trap is designed. This is not a bad feature, just irritable when the lint is damp from steam cycles. Third, the LED display is poorly lit. We had to adjust the lighting in the room to see the display. Lastly, the dryer door has to be tugged to open. I became used to the soft touch opening mechanism on my last Samsung dryer, so this is going to be a feature to get used to. Either than those down falls, I find the dryer cycles are much faster than my older Samsung that had the same capacity. I'll take the functionality and timely dry cycles compared to my former appliance. Well worth the price!

We replaced our 14 year old LG units with the new LG units. Very happy to have a quiet combo that does the job. The new units are a pleasure to use. Installation and delivery by Best Buy was excellent. All products were installed quickly and efficiently. Delivery was done on time. We could not do without the storage drawers.

The LG dryer is pretty quiet, for a dryer. It appears to work pretty well for the most part. It seems at times it does not perform as well with the sensor drying and I have to toss some things back in. The sometimes seems to happen even with items that are quite similar. It might actually run longer than the Samsung it replaced but is so much quieter and in our house that is a good thing. So far it seems to be a good dryer and has been no trouble.

Very quiet, very efficient, 10/10 would buy again.

I haven't needed to use the steam setting yet, but have used a lot of the other settings and I have been happy with how it works and the ease of use. On the pedestal it is at a really convenient height. Being able to run it from my phone and be notified when it is done is handy.

No one has a home WiFi with no special characters and no spaces in either the name or password! Seriously? So, the WiFi is a waste of money. The dryer won’t connect to anything but elementary WiFi. So far, the dryer has worked well, but the price is a bit steep. Love the steam and sanitary settings. Those are a definite plus.

I love it. I got the one with steamer and made my life much easier I don’t have to iron my clothes anymore. But if u leave your clothes in the dryer for long amount of time after u use steamer than it will get wrinkly. However I’m enjoying it so far. Now I need to sell my old washer and buy the same washer as dryer.

Quiet. Easy to use. Love the music tone to letting me know it’s done
