Although I think it is ridiculous to review an appliance you are counting on for years of use after only a month, here goes. Drier is roomy and quiet, and dries well. Not sure why there is a special setting just for towel ... why doesn't the regular sensor work for towels? The warning to clean the filter based on air flow seems ultra-picky. I'm asked to clean the filter when there is practically nothing there.

This is a really nice electric dryer. The touch screen to operate it is easy to reach because it is in front. The dryer filter, also located in front, is easy to access as well. I do wish it had a dryer light inside. And I wish its perma-press cycle could be run at low heat instead of medium. That is not an option with this dryer and sometimes I have mixed loads where a lower heat initially would be preferable. But the dryer is very quiet and allows for both a damp dry and wrinkle release ending which are nice features. The pause button is one of my favorite features too. For those into technology, the dryer settings can be programmed via a Smartphone. Last but not least, this is an Energy Star rated appliance. In my State the rebate from ComEd is $100.

The washer and dryer work great - we didn’t need a lot of features like steam or wifi, these do the basics of washing and drying clothes very well and are very intuitive and easy to use. Very quiet in operation, can hardly tell they’re running. Washer has long cycles but seems gentler on clothes than our previous front loader. Dryer didn’t come with a rack for sweaters, shoes etc. but easy enough to order from LG - Best Buy should offer accessories like that for purchase on website. Can’t say enough good things about Best Buy - ordering online was simple, scheduling delivery was simple, and the two guys who delivered were extraordinary - right on time, wore face masks, gloves for their and our safety, in and out fast but didn’t cut any corners.

This thing is awesome. Yes, it dries clothes but the sensor function does work. Easy to use, zero issue with it other than one small gripe -- this could be due tot he User....I am a single guy and I dry on Normal and Low heat. Until the girlfriend decides to do laundry 90% the fetuses will not be used --haha. For life of me cannot figure out how to change the heat level on Normal level from Medium to Low. However, with the sensor dry, not sure is an issue. My clothes are not shrinking or anything and the dryer appears to be efficient....the time when start is usually lower than the actual time needed when cycle ends. No complaints here.

I love my new dryer. It looks great, and most of all is energy efficient and holds more clothes than my old dryer. It runs quietly, which is important, since the apartment is small.

I agree with the many great online reviews. It has the features, looks good amd performs well.

The LG dryer is a sturdy piece of machinery. It works well, has settings for virtually any type of clothing or bedding, and sits nicely atop our LG front-loading washer. It is a welcome addition to our home.

I have to say the Best Buy came through with the order for this item, when other box stores and appliance stores could not get one for 6 weeks during this Covid-19 crisis. They had it in within a week and a half. Great Job! Best Buy! This is a wonderful dryer because it is soooo quiet and is easy to run. I love the FlowSense on this dryer. This dryer is so quick in it's drying process. My old one took twice as long to dry my items. It really does a great job with towels. The settings are already there for you to use such as towels, bedding, etc. It also comes with timed drying and other special settings one needs for special items. LOVE IT! It also was my birthday and received another 10% off an already low price.

Nice product, dries clothes quickly, and easy to operate. We replaced a thirty year old dryer and believe this dryer is extremely efficient which should save money with operating costs. Very satisfied.

I wanted a work horse dryer without all the digital or touch screen buttons. I've had this dryer for months now and it has not disappointed. It's used daily for clothes, towels, sheets, and comforters. I highly recommend if you want something simple yet modern. Worth every penny. I am thinking about getting the stool attachment. I would like for the dryer to sit higher.

easy to use...energy efficient....and very quiet...fits nicely in a smaller area

I have complete four dryer loads using the normal, sensor, and time settings. Unfortunately, the normal setting does not allow low settings but works very well for medium The temperature sensor on my previous dryer was a joke. This sensor is perfect and reduces the actual dryer time. The manual settings using the sensor will greatly reduce drying time and allows more adjustments. This dryer is quiet, efficient, and economical. Wish it had a light inside the drum. I strongly recommend this dryer.

I’m very pleased with this LG dryer! Easy to use, efficient, quiet. I purchased the LG washer a few years ago and it has been great, too.

So far this dryer has been efficient and effective. It sometimes take a little longer than expected with heavier loads but it does its job and it is easy to use.

Love my new Dryer, first LG appliance so as with all things new there is an adjustment. My favorite feature is; This dryer is by default (you can override, but why if you are saving on your electric bill) set to use less heat, whereas using less elec. The length of time running may be longer for some cycles but will cost less. The only feature I miss from my old dryer is the light. Lg doesn't have a light in the drum...very dark. still rated it 5, the performance is great.

I like this product as it is an energy star dryer with big enough capacity for a family of 5. It operates quietly and fits in most of the laundry room.

This dryer fit perfectly, is super quiet, and works really well! We did get the dreaded "d80" error a few times but after adjusting the vents and making sure there were no obstructions it went away. It's also a great looking dryer!

Can't really speak to the units as they were only installed today. But we can speak to the professional installation by Geek Squad. All members were wearing masks without being asked. They did a great job and helped me recover the pedestals from the old units which we will use for storage. The units look to be easy to use and understand. Our only sad is the dryer does not have an interior light. We can live with that.
