It’s ok….but don’t tell me it’s dry when it’s not

You always have to change the dry level to above “normal”. Seems like an expensive dryer to have to fight with it.

LG - 7.4 Cu. Ft. Stackable Smart Electric Dryer

The dry settings are preset and so is the amount of time for each setting. I find the time settings are not long enough to actually dry the items so it takes multiple times to dry items.

We installed it appropriately (with spanking clean vents) and have gotten D85 and D90 errors since. I quick google search would have told us that many experience this issue and need to manually remove this safety device which is insane to me. After all the troubleshooting, I missed the return window and wish I hadn’t. Super disappointed.

Not a quality product - warranty bogus

This is the second time I purchased an LG dryer based on Consumer Reports and it's the second time I've had massive issues. The first one lasted only four years and I ultimately spent more repairing it over time than the cost of the unit itself. I was naive and bought a second one (thinking the first was a fluke), and only five months in, I had issues again, and I was told two parts are broken and need to be ordered. I am still waiting for the "warranty" to be useful, as LG has taken more than three weeks at this point to fix the dryer (thus forcing me to spend money getting clothes cleaned and dried elsewhere). No end in sight. Never again with this product.
