I purchased white washer and dryer in November, received washer in December and dryer in January. The whites are not the same, the washer has a gray tint. I called Best Buy went into Best Buy and emailed Best Buy without results. I also paid for the pedestals, so spending that much money and thinking you are getting matching colors and you don’t, very disappointed.

We love this dryer! After 5 years with our Maytag dryer, it started having serious issues and had been repaired a couple of times. So, when it broke for the last time, we decided to invest in a new set. I did a lot of research before choosing this dryer. We also purchased the matching watcher because we figured the washer would start having problems before too long. This LG dryer is everything it claims to be with the intelligence functions via Wi-Fi and the LG ThinQ app. The steam function is perfect to disinfect garments since we have 4 dogs (big and small) so this comes in handy for their blankets and beds. I did a lot of research before finally deciding on this smart dryer and so glad we made the purchase. There are so many features to this dryer including The LG ThinQ app. It is so handy to be notified that your dryer is done instead of running back and forth to check how much time is left on the dryer. I am a busy person and don’t have time to run back and forth to see how much time is left before it is finished. Another feature I like about this dryer is how quiet it is. We like the customizable cycles. Years ago, we owned a LG front load washer and dryer with no issues but when we moved, we purchased another brand. Now 5 years later we had to purchase another set because the dryer kept having problems this past year. Not trusting the washer, we went on a search for a new set. Most of the stores were out of the washer or dryer. Some stores had a wait list of 1 to 6 months before they were able to deliver with the supply chain issues. We even choose a set but couldn’t get the pedestals. We needed the height of the pedestals because I have a very bad back and my husband is a disabled veteran. So, we looked at BestBuy and found the set that we were looking for. I went back to the LG brand because we had no issues with the last LG washer and dryer. I even don’t know why we switched brands but I’m glad to have the LG set back. The size of the dryer is big enough for larger items. BestBuy was able to deliver and set up within days of ordering online. I love it. So many features and temps to dry whatever item you need. Plus, it is quiet, there were a few times I had to check the dryer to ensure it was still running. This dryer will not disappoint. LG front load washer and dryers are built to last longer than 5 years. I listened to what repair men/women had to say about the best repairable washer and dryers with least issues and they said LG & GE. We did look at the GE, but it was to large and tall on pedestals for our dedicated space, so we went with the brand we knew best LG and so glad we made the purchase. Thanks Best Buy!

Owned a pair of LG washer and dryer for 11 years which I included in the sale of my home. I am completely satisfied with the functions and features of LG along with the reliability. The color is more of a dark gray and the design is functional. This dryer has all the features you will need in a household and it gets the job done. Some of the controls are touch sensitive and work extremely well. Best Buy delivered and installed both the washer and dryer. Make sure to buy the additional items you will need to have them connected because they are not included. At check out include the suggested items from Best Buy.

It dries good and has a lot of settings for different types of loads. It’s not too loud and it’s pretty user friendly. I bought it to go with the washer we got 6 months ago that was supposed to be a dryer as well. That one was not so great at drying.

I replaced my 14 year old Bosch dryer with this LG dryer. What a difference 14 years makes in terms of quality, size, and efficiency. This dryer has many options and is very easy to use. Once the Wi-Fi and app are connected you can download specialty cycles. I now get emails which inform me of my usage and it also does a health check on the dryer. The only thing I was surprised about was that this didn’t qualify for my state energy rebate.
