Best Buy did it right! I really like my new washer and dryer. Even more so with the flawless and excellent customer service. From beginning to end the process was smooth and stress free. I felt good about spending my money! The washer and dryer are great additions and work really well.

We replaced a very old dryer that came with the house. We selected the LG unit because of good reviews in both Best Buy and a leading consumer magazine. The installation crew from Best Buy was also great and fully explained how it operated. The unit is very quiet and the controls are easily understood. I expect a long and useful life.

I’m only giving it 4 stars because it’s still a fairly new purchase, and I’m still waiting on delivery on the matching pedestal to finish the complete installation; and with everything fully connected. But so far so good… No complaints and it’s working as intended. But time will tell how it holds up over time. I’m satisfied so far…

Other than the pain/frustration of trying to get it into my all-too-small laundry room, this has been the best dryer I've ever owned/used.
It's dry time is phenomenal and more options to do so than I knew existed. From big loads of towels to small loads of dress clothes, I have zero complaints.

This dryer rocks! And it plays you a song when it’s done so you can get pumped about folding your laundry. My things were a bit wrinkled because I let them sit so I did a quick steam dry and voila! Perfectly wrinkle free! Love love love!

It is easy to use, and it dries most items well. The top surface scratched easily when I moved a plastic hamper across, so I suggest you get a protective mat (see photo). It is not made as solidly as my previous (old) Dryer, so I find myself closing the door gently. I used to slam my old dryer door. I have used the steam option twice, and I am pleased with the result.

I love this dryer! It’s my first dryer that has all the intelligence functions as Wi-Fi and steam etc. my old dryer was burning clothes very old… this one is best of the best. With baby on the way I’m so appreciative to have steam function to disinfect garments etc. Would highly recommend to anyone who consider smart dryer. Totally worth it! And you can use LG ThinQ app to help you with your loads and connects to Wi-Fi!

This dryer really catches your eye. Its cool design fits great in my laundry space, and the built-in smarts make things even easier. The steam feature is awesome for keeping clothes smooth. It can handle big loads effortlessly because it's got plenty of space. If you want a good mix of style and smart features in a dryer, this one's a solid choice. Definitely recommend buying it!

Had this dryer for 6 months so far and we love it. Dries the clothes very well. Has a lot of drying cycles to choose from and download from mobile. Also, does not seem to use a lot of electricity as older dryers. Companion LG ThinQ app is very well designed and gives really useful insights into the usage patterns and such.

Given the amount of great reviews, it's been so frustrating to end up with a similar experience to all the other 1 star reviews.
They are absolutely true: the dryer sensor seems to not be working and after a cycle of drying at the second highest heat setting, a medium sized load is still so wet it might as well have not been running. I'm not sure if there is an issue with the machine being unable to vent the humidity out but there is so much condensation inside the drum and door I can only assume that is at least one of the problems. Just my luck that a cold front just came through and it's been raining non stop here so I can't even put the towels out to dry. It's like mother nature and LG teamed up to sabotage laundry day for me. Normally I welcome any excuse to procrastinate the laundry but with my supply of clean socks and underwear running dangerously low, it looks like I get to haul my damp, unfinished laundry to my boyfriend's house because my brand new dryer just isn't up to the task.
Secondly, the lint "trapper" is an amazingly awful failure the likes of which I've never encountered before with a dryer, not even with the worst units in my first apartment way back in the day. It's like it was thought up during a drunken bet to be the most poorly designed lint trap this world has ever seen and boy does it earn that title! The first time I opened the dryer door after its first load, I was met with a faceful of lint and pet hair due to the dryer being stacked and thus perfectly level with my face for this dusty greeting. The bottom of the door was covered, as was the entry of the dryer so even if the clothes were dry, they would have been dragged through it all. I emptied the not entirely full trap and against all reason, hoped it would be better the second time. It was not. For the next load, I was actually saved by the fact that it was so damp inside because it meant all the lint and hair was stuck to the door instead of clogging my nose and lungs. Amazing.
I am so lucky that these problems have revealed themselves in the very first week of having this dryer so maybe (again, my optimism will probably be misplaced) just maybe, I can actually get a refund and different dryer. I'll report back on how that goes with customer service, I'm sure they'll be not only responsive but efficient as well (I already have a headache thinking about this return process, please pray for me).
Oh and another detail about this entire experience: when the install team showed up, they didn't even come prepared with the stacking kit. My boyfriend, already annoyed with all the issues we'd been having with delivery/install (a different saga entirely), had ordered one just in case and good thing he did otherwise I would have had an aneurysm. But if I did, at least I wouldn't have to continue with this ordeal.
Hi there. Thank you for sharing your detailed experience with the DLEX4000B dryer. We understand the issue you've encountered with both the drying performance and the lint trap design. It’s understandable how concerning it must be to deal with a brand new appliance that isn’t meeting your expectations, especially when you rely on it for daily laundry tasks.
Regarding the drying issues, we recommend checking that the venting system is not blocked, as this can impact performance. Ensuring that the dryer is properly vented can significantly reduce condensation inside the drum and enhance drying efficiency. As for the lint trap design, we appreciate your feedback, as it is essential for us to understand where improvements can be made. Your experience is invaluable, and we want to ensure you have a satisfactory resolution. I Love this dryer. It’s quiet. I like the WiFi features because it knows what wash load you finished and it chooses the same type of load automatically for you.

So far so good. Was initially worried it wouldn’t fit in the space, but the specs were accurate and the installers deft and capable and made it work. Figuring out all the options of both washer and dryer takes some time, but clothes are clean and it all works great.
