It's not noisy and functions well. I love its steam fresh function especially. Just one thing I love the least is the Lint filter that drops straight not either covered or curved.

LG Washer/Dryer Set Review

First I want to say my rating would actually be 4.5 if that was an option, simply because I was hoping for a "My Cycle" setting because I do 99% of my laundry on the same setting.
My husband has brand loyalty and we had Samsung washer/dryers for the last 10 years. They worked great, but both washers had to be replaced around 5 years. I put my foot down since I do the laundry and said we were getting a different brand. I did a bunch of research and ultimately it came down to the LG set and the GE Profile set. After looking at a bunch of reviews I decided the soap dispensing option seemed gimmicky with the GE and while the vent option seemed great, the GE matching dryer is what made me decide to go with this LG set. The GE dryer had too many negative reviews.
I've only had the set for 3 days, but I was a week behind on laundry for a family of 4 so I've done 10 loads in the 3 days. So far, and hopefully it will remain this way, everything has been great. I use the same setting for everything, except bedding. Normal is my go to. The LG takes about 30 min less time than my Samsung. My Samsung on the same settings took 75 min for a load of laundry, while the LG takes about 40 and they come out just as clean. I need to experiment with the settings more once I'm caught up on laundry, but the normal mode works great (I adjust the settings a bit with temp, spin, soil level). It's super quiet, so for the people saying it's really loud and knocks stuff off their walls... I just have to say - learn how to level a washer. My Samsung would sound like an airplane when it was spinning fast, this one you can hear in the next room, but my laundry room is on a different level and I can't hear it at all. For the people saying there isn't enough water because their 10+ year old washer filled it up... yeah the older models waste water. These ones put the actual amount of water you need in the tub, your clothes are still getting clean.
Ok, now for the dryer. The dryer was the deciding factor for me with the GE and LG sets. The GE had too many different negative issues, while the LG seemed like people were complaining about the same things. First, I want to address the people saying their clothes are coming out wet when the dryer says they're done. Don't use the sensor dry on any dryer. It doesn't work. I've had the option for so long on different models and all it does is get your clothes hot and it thinks it's dry. Time dry setting is all you need. I set my temp to medium and because I do larger loads and a lower heat, it does take about 75 min to dry, but that's what my Samsung did too so that's ok with me. I might fiddle with the sensor dry to see if it actually works on this one, but because I'm behind I don't have time right now to try that out. For the other people complaining that lint is flying in their face, I haven't had this happen at all. The lint trap is actually really nice, the lint comes out super easy. My Samsung had one that had to fold open and we had to replace it a few times because it would crack/break from simply opening it to remove the lint.
After reading all the reviews I'm sure there are some defective dryers causing the issues, but I think a lot of them are user error. It also seems like the older generation is comparing apples to oranges and wants their new dryers to act like their 15 year old ones. If that's the case and you want an old school washer/dryer with an agitator that uses way too much water, then shop for that and don't buy something like this just to complain that it's different.
I'll update if things go awry.

The LG electronic dryer works efficiently and dries clothes quickly with minimal noise. It has easy-to-use settings and a sleek design. The sensor dry feature helps save energy and prevents over-drying. Overall, it’s a reliable and high-quality appliance that makes laundry easier.
Love it!!

I bought this dryer at a huge discount because of a dent on the side. I highly recommend buying things at a discount because the damage isnt even noticeable at all. The dryer works great, runs quietly and senses when clothing is dry. It even plays a little song when the load is finished drying. Im super happy with this purchase, its 1000 times better than my old dryer which was a basic white dryer from lowes, which was about the same price,

Runs very well. It is quiet, dries fast, and is easy to use. The AI intelligence decides what cycle is the best so all you have to do is load it and push one button and you are good to go.

Overall its a great washer and dryer. I dont have any real complaints so far. Efficient, easy to use. Its quiet. Havent used ALL the features and fucntions just yet but what i have used is great. If you read the instructions/manuals carefully and thoroughly, easy to install and you wont mess up your clothes. Remember to use any appliance the way it was meant to be used, and it will do what you want it to. I will say the max load size is probably more like semi fluffy queen comforter, not a king. If you dont think you’ll need the “smart” features then you dont. You can probably save some money or go with something bigger but more basic and still pay about the same. Get the bottom drawers if you can, they just make sense for this set in terms of both functionality and aesthetic.

’m very satisfied with its performance. It dries my clothes quickly and evenly, and has a steam function that reduces wrinkles and odors. The smart features are also very convenient and easy to use. I can control the dryer with my voice or phone, and get alerts when the cycle is done or the lint filter needs cleaning. The dryer is also very quiet and energy-efficient. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a high-quality dryer with smart technology.

I am so very happy with my new dryer. I especially enjoy the steam setting. I have put all of my decorator pillows into the steam setting and it refreshes them so nicely.
It’s also very nice for a dryer to dry the entire load in one session. Best Buy was awesome to work with. I purchased the dryer online, Best Buy walked me through the additional items I needed to buy and set up my delivery date all during the purchase. The delivery was quick and they removed my old dryer.
I am a huge fan of LG appliances and this dryer did not disappoint.

This dryer with the steam feature has changed our lives. No really, my dry cleaning bill is down due to the freshen steam feature. The dryer is efficient, while drying my items without cooking them. No noise and a soft chime end signal. This model has every feature the newer model has just a different esthetic on front, while you get better price.

This LG electric dryer does a great job at drying towels, linens and clothes. I have been using this dryer for a few weeks and I am very pleased with the way it works. It is very quiet and I use the LG app, which notifies me via my iPhone/iPad when the load is finished.

Loving my new dryer. So far I've used its basic settings and the steam function. I'm still trying to understand some other functions since I'm used to basic washing. Wifi set-up was easy. You need the lq app. And I like how when the washer is done, the dryer will set to the washer's mode. Ex. washed permanent press, dryer will automatically set to this mode. Fits alot of clothes and its very quiet. My only problem is it doesn't keep tumbling when it's finished on all modes so your clothes don't wrinkle if you happen to be away from it.

Great dryer, Best Buy in store team is the best this dryer arrived with some cosmetic issues, and since I didn’t see the issues right away because we waited for installation, neither lg or customer services over the phone wanted to help me at this time I had the dryer less than a month. I went into the store to complain and they discounted the damage and that was enough for me it only took 15 mins which was a lot more than their phone customer service.
