I purchased this dryer back in July and it was fine. Not great but Ok. 5 months in the lint filter warped and snapped. Well whatever I thought, this product is still under warranty all is good right? Wrong. Apparently, lint filters are not covered under warranty so now I got to pay to replace the cheaply made part that they could easily supply. Stay far away from LG. They use cheap parts and make you pay the price

    Dryer has many design flaws

Not a fan of this dryer! 1. The dry sensor doesn't work properly. If you wash sweatpants and tshirts together, the dryer shuts off when the tshirts are dry regardless of the setting. We found that you must use the towels setting or the towels will never dry. Delicate setting doesn't work at all! 2. Once dry, clothes are pushed to the front of the dryer so when you open the door they fall out. I have learned to put a basket under the door, but can't understand why this unit was designed this way. Note...we leveled the unit AFTER we paid for installation by Best Buy's crew to install it for us. (There is a reason they don't ask for reviews on their install crews. Do it yourself as you will have to fix what they don't do right!) 3. Lint catcher is another design flaw. When you remove the lint catcher, a lot of lint stays in the dryer getting caught on the screws and indentions in the slot. Spend way too much time trying to dig the lint out of the catcher space. To compound the problem, the finish on the black steel attracts lint so it ALWAYS looks dirty.

I picked this dryer up on my way home from work after the repair told me that it would cost $500 to fix our old drier. I was looking for a floor model to save money. I found his model which almost matched our LG washer. Being and electric it was super easy to set up and install even with my "tricky" vent situation. I plugged it in an worked with no issues. It does connect to wifi for additional drying options but my wife doesn't see a reason for that as there are a ton of settings already. It works great and my wife loves it.

Really wanted to love this dryer as we have our past LG dryers, but this unit does not completely dry a load itself. Instead, we end up having to do a timed dry after the normal cycle. This has been occurring since we bought it so there should be no issues. Otherwise, it's been a good unit.

This thing took a month past the delivery date to get here. It's extremely loud, always unbalanced and can hardly handle a full load of laundry. I've never been more disappointed in my life.

this machines is so quiet that at I thought it was not working during the first few months of ownership. It does what it says, it is energy efficient, dries very well too. Even my mother in law loves it (to her, nothing is perfect, except me)

Bought this so it would match the new washer and replace the other one that was waiting on parts to be repaired. So far it has worked great, love all the settings and how quick it dries clothes.

Dryer seems to have issues getting my things completely dry, have to run a timed dry after a normal one sometimes. And this is brand new, so nothing to clean out.

This dryer is smaller than others at this capacity. Having a steam dryer allows you to freshen up clothes that aren’t really dirty. Steam drying helps get out wrinkles and makes clothes smell fresh.

I LOVE this Dryer! It is efficient & does a great job without over heating my laundry. My only critique, I wish I had known the Steam feature only worked if you connect it to a water line, which requires a plumber. My first LG Dryer had the Steam feature, except it was a drawer on the top left with a container to pour water into, whenever you needed to use the steam. Which I understand why they changed it, I just wish I had known. Whenever I finally call the plumber, I will get to steam...

LG makes the most reliable and intuitive appliances. This dryer is no exception. It works great. We have no issues. We initially had a problem in the beginning where the dryer wasn't fully drying clothes, but that was due to an issue with the way the outlet was wired. Once I rewired the outlet and use the correct power cable, everything worked perfectly. The app function and notifications are great, especially when you have an LG TV and it shows on the TV.
