Best Dryer Ever!

I absolutely love it! The drum is so big that I have yet to fill it up. I have put as many as 7 pairs of jeans in the dryer and they came out beautifully. I turned the dryer on once before I left the house and then forgot about them when I returned home. I used the steam option and they came out beautiful.

We also opted to buy the pedestal, which makes loading and unloading much easier. Operation is very easy with multiple drying options depending on the type of load you’re drying. We haven’t tried the smart features yet, but will likely get around to it in the future. So far, we’re loving our new LG dryer.

First of all, I assumed we would be able to get Alexa to announce when dryer cycle finishes. Nope. But it does text my phone, so ok, a little smart. My problem is the clothes don't get dry. There are a dozen preset programs that cannot be altered. There are 2 manual programs that you can change settings on, and there's one downloadable setting. Socks never dry the first time around, nor do most collars and waistbands. And if you try to do an additional dry cycle, you can't use the presets because the sensor thinks the clothes are dry and it stops running. So back to the manual cycles. And if you have a small load, there's not enough clothes to trip the sensor, so those loads never dry on the preset cycle. If I could bump up the dry level or time on the presets, I would be happy. But as it is, there's extra work involved just to do a simple task. Frankly, I miss my old 18 year old dryer that got the clothes dry.
