This dryer replaced a 13 year old Whirlpool Duet steam gas dryer that was starting to show its age. I found the matching washer 1st at a Best Buy Outlet, and love it. Then looked for the matching dryer and found it for a good savings and it was like new. This dryer works great! Dry clothes fast. A bit quieter than the Duet, though the gas burner is a bit louder when its on. It seems to dry about 30% quicker than the Whirlpool. Love the LED interior light. Just want it to always turn on when you open the door, instead of needing to turn on the power button. Love the glass doors on this set too. Steam also seems much better for spraying the clothes evenly than our old Duet.

We chose the LG because Consumer Reports generally likes the brand for laundry machines and because of its remarkable similarity to Samsung dryers, even down to the musical melody the machine plays at the end of the drying cycle. We suspect that the machines are made at the same factory and only the brand labels are different. This dryer replaced a two year old Electrolux gas dryer that came with the house we moved into last year. In our previous home, we had a very nice Samsung gas dryer and when we used the Electrolux here, we realized it was substandard. We like this dryer very much. There is so much control over the drying cycles for whatever you're drying. The machine is very quiet compared to the Electrolux which was very noisy. 85db noisy. I measured it. We've had three laundry days so far, and the dryer has been great.

Lots of great features and easy to use so far. Only disappointment was they could not install the steam kit and said I need a plumber to do that. So haven't tried that yet. Also needed a new screw on the gas line and they charged me cash for that. hmmmm?

Does a great job as a dryer. Nice and quiet, has been drying at least a load a day for over half a year now, no performance problems. Only issue is that my unit doesn't seem to connect to the LG ThinQ app. Kind of a bummer.

Like the size and seems to dry clothes quickly. Has a light when you open the door so you can see when taking clothes out. Happy with it so far.

I love this washer and dryer, they are quiet and efficient. I have the app and i can keep up with the washer and dryer.

This LG dryer is fabulous‼️ A lot of drying choices and it works perfectly every time…I totally recommend this dryer!

Loving this machine, no need to be interrupted to know if the machine is finished. I down loaded the app on my S21 and I can check when the machine is finished.

Equally beautiful to the washer! Lots of options to drying all your clothes. The dryer had a light that looks beautiful through the dark glass (wish the washer had the same).

Great machine! I went back to front loader from top load. Much happier with the front loader with newer models.

This dryer is so easy to use and clothing dries fast. I especially like the smart drying function and alert.

So far we love the new LG washer&dryer... though we bought the same models only 6 years ago and they both became unusable and had to be hauled away terminally ill.

Loving the great features to control the load size and different types of garments. WiFi connection and programming is super convenient for a fast pace life like mine.

Purchased 1 month ago . Works great with large and small loads . Especially like all the washing options.
