It Doesn’t dry with the first cycle and when the cycle ends, you have this annoying whistle medley !! Drives me nuts !!then you have to start again to finish drying and then the whistles again. Ughhhh i wouldn’t buy it again .

Buy the extended warranty... Here we are with out "new" dryer that replaced an old Samsung unit I had to fix 6 times to get it to 9 years old, and already with a light load in the dryer, this thing starts to cavitate like it is going to shake apart. The awesome news, LG repair has been responsive and appointments were only 5 days out. Once the repair guy comes/goes and hopefully we have a fully functioning dryer again. I will update the review after it gets repaired.

We own a newer LG refrigerator that has needed repairing 2 times, so we were hesitant to buy another LG product. The sales person assured us that washers and dryers were a strength of LG so we decided to give their product another chance. After just 2 cycles, the dryer stopped working completely. The repair person did not know why. LG's customer service could not figure it out. At least, Best Buy/Pacific was willing to replace the dryer. Hope the second one has a longer life.

Dried one load of laundry and on the 2nd load it wouldn’t dry. Looked at the manual performed a heat test it threw a good for “Gas”. Again it was in between loads so gas valve was not messed with cleared codes And it throws the same code again. All other gas appliances working fine. Contacted Lg for service 1st repair center basically said they were to busy it would be days before they could make it out so contact LG and see if they could get somebody else to do it. So I did that and now the 2nd place said they are to busy for warranty repairs because they don’t make enough money Off warranty work. So now I’m supposed to wait 7 days for them to find somebody else before I contact them again for them to escalate my claim. Even though it’s already been over 2 weeks. Guess we’ll see what happens and I’ll be without a dryer until they get around to it.

I have had issues with clothing consistently still being damp after a cycle. When I called customer support, I was told to remove the Energy Saver mode, which did help, but did not entirely solve the problem. I regularly have to run loads twice. I also noticed from the beginning the you have to push the lint filter down hard to make it sit well. Even with that, I have had clothing and bedding items get caught on the corner and tear or twist to the point of destruction. This has now happened so many times that I am ordering another lint filter because a notch has been worn into the first one from all the items catching on it. When I went onto the LG site, there are numerous one star reviews due to this issue alone. My old dryer ran for years and worked so much better than this one. I am very disappointed.

Expected better quality for the money. Almost $1000 Door is cheap. I am already worried that the cheap lock might break soon.
