I called and CS said that I can't mix fabrics in the dryer because the lighter fabrics get dry and the sensor turns off the cycle. It makes sense but it didn't happen with my previous dryer, which also had sensor. Who would have a whole load of jeans, or cotton, or whatever other fabric... I do laundry by colors. Well, this dryer seems to have a lot of settings that I can't use because they don't work. According to CS, I should only use the timed dry option if I want to complete a drying cycle . The bedding setting doesn't work either. What a waste of money....

Very disappointed with telephone customer service

And my request for a supervisor of course they weren't available. What a let down

The "Normal" setting for drying does not work!!

Dryer- Not drying

I have place the items in the dryer for another cycle in order to dry them or hang them outside. Was not a good buy

Lost my trust with LG

We had to spend $300 to get it fixed. LG has lost our trust and will not purchase a LG appliance going forward. As far as dryer was concerned I am not happy with Best Buy support.

Horrible install

They did it wrong, left, nothing worked... came back days later... still didn’t work. Installers complained the whole time. Horrible experience.

Takes over two and a half hours at high heat to dry a load of clothes. es, all lint is removed from everywhere as noted in the numerous YouTube videos but still the clothes are damp.

It was moderately good at drying, sometimes over drying and other times under drying on same cycle. Worst part is that 4 years owning it, the control panel went bad. Ordered a new control panel for $300 in March 2024 and had it replaced which cost another $200. Now in October of 2024 the control panel goes out again. Neither LG or Encompass who behind the scenes supplies the part will stand by the part and replace it. DO NOT BUY LG!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had dryer for 2 weeks and now its not heating up at all! Think twice for that reason alone!!! Other things I didn't like was not being able to make the adjustments i wanted. According to the instructions, you are supposed to be able to make adjustments to Default/Preset settings but I was only able to make adjustments to Manual settings AND not all the modifier options are available either. The heat temp doesn't seem to change regardless of setting you choose (high, medium, low, etc). I didn't use a thermal device to check temp but it was obvious. The steam option actually squirted water into the dryer like a squirt gun rather than releasing/producing steam. I could have just threw in some water in the dryer tub myself instead of paying extra for the steam kit. I'm just glad I found out that the dryer stopped heating before my 14 day period satisfaction guarantee was up! Note that in this 2 week period I did 5 loads of laundry! Also, as stated in other reviews, the labels are harder to read without back light. I'm so annoyed to have to return these products as it took me a few weeks to go through reviews on different websites. Despite some of the negative reviews, I went ahead with this purchase since friends and family seemed to be happy with other LG models they owned. I was hopeful I wouldn't get a lemon but sadly I was not so lucky! I'm back to reading reviews and will try to download the user manual of the next washer/dryer set I'm interested in and read up on the functionality before I make the actual purchase to avoid disappointment again! Hope this review helps!

Over the last couple of months, it has been taking longer and longer to dry clothing. Finally, it stopped drying at all. I had two different repairmen out. They both agreed the control board needed to be replaced, and both stated that they thought that part had a 2-year warranty. We called LG and were told that it was not under warranty and there was nothing they could do. So we now have had this appliance for 1 1/2 years and have a $400 + repair. Not at all happy with the longevity of this product or the response from LG. I would not recommend this product and will not be buying LG products in the future.

Didn't last and never worked correctly.

It never dried the clothes like it should and now all but two settings no longer work. The two settings that do kinda work require drying a load 2 and 3 cycles. Now in order to have a matching set I either have to buy this again or start over.. Looking at the reviews I am probably better off starting over.
