Despite paying extra for professional gas installation, the process was careless and rushed. The installers appeared to be in a hurry, handled everything roughly, and **caused a gas leak during installation**, potentially damaging the gas pipe. This is not just poor service—it’s a serious safety concern that may now require an independent inspection. To make matters worse, after all the delays, wasted time, and stress, **the dryer doesn’t even work**. It’s defective right out of the box. I lost days waiting for appointments—one of which Best Buy never showed up for—and ended up with a non-functional appliance that now needs to be exchanged. For an expensive gas dryer, this level of incompetence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. The entire experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and unsafe. I strongly recommend staying away from this dryer and from purchasing gas appliances through Best Buy.
