Big, Beautiful and broken

Not good for video games

Defective TV

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After setup whenever power was applied the picture and sound would come on normally but at random intervals anywhere from a few seconds to as much as 34 minutes it would start cycling off and on until power was removed. Numerous troubleshooting attempts with LG support led to their conclusion that the unit was defective. BestBuy gave me full refund with no hassle.

In the first 2 days of having this TV we had to “set up” the TV all over again as it kept losing the connection to our cable service. Upon looking through other reviews of this TV, this is a common problem. So we returned it for a Samsung instead - NO problems with this one at all!

Horrible! Never buy a 70 inch!!!

Finally decided to go with 65 inch Vizio m series and it was definitely the better choice and I should of went with that from the start. I thought LG had some of the best TVs but I was wrong. Do yourself a favor and never buy a 70 inch TV. They are mass made for the holidays and a cheap TV's. I had to learn the hard way.

LG 70” Smart TV

It has a stripe from top to bottom. The TV has not even lasted her a full 2 yrs yet. Approximately a year & a half?

It happened every time I shut it off. I had it replaced and have the same problem with the replacement.

THIS TV IS GOING BACK!

I was flabbergasted when I went online and learned that this was one of the MAIN issues with LG TV's.

Shuts Off Every 15 Minutes

I've tried all online remedies, reset the TV to original factory settings which fixes it for a few hours, then it happens again. Very poor quality TV.

Bought threemonths ago. Now it’s just frozen

Was told 5 days ago someone from LG would be in contact with me to look at it and haven’t heard a thing. Best Buy won’t replace it. Really disappointed

GREAT VALUE FOR SIZE and PRICE!

He INSISTED I “NOT MAKE A BIG, EXPENSIVE MISTAKE!” We got this for my dad X-Mas ‘19!! He’d wanted a bigger TV (60”+) for years, like most, we’re on a budget! I did some research on 3 TV’s I could purchase. I wanted to get a 70” TCL DoorBuster for <$300, (Not the best, but I figured, if insured, they’d fix it!) It was not to be, they were SOLD OUT! Next up: a Samsung for <&550 or this LG for $100+; the Samsung was in my budget, had good reviews, & we owned a few, so thinking he’d pick the Samsung I asked my son his opinion. He DIDN’T! He said “Mom you’ll regret being cheap & not spending the extra $$ on this LG. The TCL probably won’t last a month, and the LG is a better product for the money, even against the Samsung” lol. I have to say I’m so glad I listened!! The TV has been going strong for over a year with constant daily use! The picture is super sharp, and don’t tell my son but I think looks just as sharp as the TV he got us, that cost 3X as much! Dad loves that all the apps he could want or need are installed and browses the internet when up at night. It was a breeze to set up and wasn’t heavy at allOthers I know who got the TCL I wanted, have already had to replace it! I was a bit skeptical about this purchase but I’m so glad I went with this LG model! I hope everyone has great experiences with it & loves it as much as my parents do! BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER!! (I’ll never admit that to my son of course!) ITS GOING TO BE SUCH A DIFFICULT ACT to follow this year. :/

Awesome TV and Soundbar Price Match Horrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First time reviewing a product really love the TV and LGSN6Y 3.1 Soundbar. After doing a lot of research I decided on LG over Samsung and Vizio this is my first LG. Originally I wanted the other 70 inch TV with the Magic Remote the 7300? Model but it sold out 2 days before my scheduled consultation at Best Buy. I just wanted to see the product in person before purchasing. The other model was 50 more but it had the Magic remote. I would definitely recommend this remote it is a little tricky at first but just give it some time and you will love it. Now the negative part I am very disappointed with Best Buy’s price match guarantee. A week after purchasing the TV and Soundbar I was very happy to see the price on the Soundbar was lower on Best Buy’s website. I thought this was going to be great the money I would save would pay for my new Magic Remote. Look I understand everyone is short staffed but expect 1.5 to 2 hour wait times as a minimum. Also one of the reps in the customer service seemed like he did not want to help me at all. I think they make some kind of commission in not helping with the price match. I am still awaiting a call or text back from Best Buy. The bottom line I give the TV and Soundbar 5 stars. Best Buy Non-customer Service 1 Star.
