I actually bought an indentical second one for another room!

Instant picture and offers excellent color and sharpness. Side viewing angle is really good. Speakers are good, rear/bottom facing, although obviously not Dolby Atmos quality. WebOS and apps (popup menu) are great additions located at the bottom 1/3 of the screen. Sometimes the popup menu could get annoying, but simply pressing BACK on the remote cancels it. HDMI was just enough (3), does have optical and composite ports. Does need updating right out of box. BestBuy home delivery was excellent and on-time, as the tv retail box was not damaged, whatsoever.

It really looks life-like the speaker volume is fine there is different modes to change it to just find the one you like. My only complaint is the remote control layout is awkward in your hand because all the main buttons are at the bottom which leaves it feeling unnatural in your hand.

Then I saw this selling for $599. I wasn't super impressed by the reviews that I read, but I thought that $600 for a 70 inch LG why not go for it. I've had it over a month now and so far so good. While it's definitely not the best TV that's on the market now it is definitely a good tv for the price. I'm happy with it and at 600 bucks I would recommend it if you want a large screen without spending a large amount of money. It is my first LG TV so I did purchase the geek squad warranty with it, just to be on the safe side.
