Meh, it’s pretty good for what I paid, but the picture is not as sharp and clear as I’d like. Bugs me that the the true 120htz TV’s haven’t seen the price drops that they would see if these weren’t selling at such a high volume. We bought if for a big covered patio, so it serves the purpose. If it were in my living room I would want a better picture.

Not sure if I like this tv yet... it doesn’t connect with my spectrum tv provider no app to download .. its very hard to learn how to work... kinda want to return it & get a Roku tv
On other hand tv it super clear at first it hurt my eyes looking at it lol seem like I could jump into the screen.
I gave it a 1 star because trying to figure out how it works sucks.

I have multiple smart TVs that were a lot cheaper than this one in the house further away from the router and yet this is the only tv that has network connection issues. This is a very disappointing purchase and I found online others with this same issue where LG declines to acknowledge the issue. This tv will be going back and I will not be purchasing another LG ever.

LG 70" - THE WORST PURCHASE EVER

The worst. Im so disappointed with this purchase. I've had it for 3 months and have had nothing but problems with it. It takes a pretty long time to turn on/power up. When I am watching the apps on it i.e. HULU, Prime Video, Netflix it will randomly exit out of the app to the LG Dashboard. There's no consistency. It'll do it after watching for 20 min or 2 hours. When it does stay in the app the picture scrambles, randomly. Sometimes it returns to normal picture. Other times, it locks up and we have to power down and reboot. (pic below)
I know I have to take it in to be checked. But it's a 70in and it'll be so difficult to get that done. if I had the time, I would've just returned it after the first 2 weeks. But unfortunately right after that I was caring for my elderly father for approx 5 weeks.

Purchased tv on black friday, mounted on wall turned on and screen had 4 stripes (white,red,green and blue) tv its almost 80lbs. called LG and was told they could send a technician but didnt have a date so i ended up returning it.

Broken- didn’t last 1.5 yrs

Pushed on the screen to adjust the wall mount. It broke. Started with a small crack and a pixelated screen, the crack grew larger and larger until a quarter of the screen was broken. The. It started to fade black in and out and eventually never turned on again. The crack and break took about 1.5 weeks to fully break the tv and overall it lasted only 1 .5 years front when we bought it.

I thought LG quality was the best and I know people who have had great experiences with them but this tv got returned after it was up and all good turned it on and the top was spider webbed in the pixels themselves.

I am amazed at the quality of the picture for a 70 inch tv this cheap. I usually buy Samsung, but decided to try this one because of the size and price point. Picture is great. Especially the 4k. You will need to make the usual adjustments that 4k tvs need out of the box to optimize the picture. Just Google it. It could use one more HDMI port, especially if you are using one for the ARC with a soundbar. But not a big issue. You won't find a 70 inch this cheap and of this quality. Get it!

TV performs as advertised - flawlessly. Easy to set up (it's light but does require two persons to lift due to its bulk) and easy to use. I am very pleased with it, especially for the relatively low price and the large size.
I am also very happy with Best Buy delivery process: constant text updates, punctual delivery, and follow up text post-delivery to make sure everything was fine. Keep that up, Best Buy. That level of customer care is a very valuable competitive advantage - I appreciate it but don't get it from most sellers.

I have had this tv now for a little over 3 weeks. I am very happy with it so far. Picture is good. I really like the sound on it. For the price I believe it is a excellent value. Very easy to set up. First LG tv I have purchased. I was looking at this one and a Samsung 70” that they had for the same price. I went with this one due to it having 3 hdmi hookups over the Samsung that only had 2. I really like it and am happy with my choice.

For the price and size this TV is pretty much unbeatable. The picture quality is excellent, colors are vibrant, blacks are dark, the TVs native sound is very good too. The only thing I would like is and extra hdmi port or two. It’s relatively easy to use if you are tech savvy but I can see it being a little harder if you are not tech savvy which is inherent with new smart TVs. Overall an excellent product and I highly recommend.

excellent tv. looks good, with minimal bezel. The picture is great, sound could be better but i've got a sound bar so i'm ok.
new webOS looks good and has some nice new features like previews and suggestions on each app (netflix, hulu, etc)
however, i don't like that there's no longer a "recent app" section like on the older iterations. makes it more annoying to pick up where i left off because i have to scroll across further. minor annoyance, but frustrating given that i've only had LG tv's for the last 12 years and its been like this on WebOS for the last 6 years
another complaint is the inability to rename HDMI inputs. even customizing with a different icon makes it easier to keep track of what i've hooked up. other TV's, especially at this price point (and some tv brands at lower) have this ability.
finally my final complaint and this is the biggest, is the switching of info and back. On my 3 other LG tv's back has always been bottom left of the directional pad, so to go back is muscle memory at this point. On this newer version, its now top left. Depending on the room i'm in, sometimes i end up backing out of my show by accident when trying to get info or open settings, or i go into a settings menu instead of backing out. It's very frustrating.
while it makes sense to swap shortcut buttons like roku based on sponsors like the netflix button, prime video, etc, there's no reason to shuffle the back since its been consistent for almost 10 years.
overall it's a great device, but it comes with inconveniences, which may not be a big deal if you're used to mixing brands, but if you're only used one brand of TV for forever, it feels worse.
