This is a great TV for the money, but my biggest issue is with the light bleed from the corners. I know this is a side lit TV but the amount of light in from the corners is some what distracting when watching a movie with black bars on top and bottom. I wish there was a better setting than just adjusting the back light high or low.

We had bought a 65inch LG few years back. We love the LG product as we have other LG products. recently, we purchased 75 inch LG TV and WOW!
It looks much better at our house than in the store. LG is a great product and continues to get better. We decided to not put it in wall as the base is pretty nice and "clean" looking.

Absolutely love this tv. The picture is so sharp even when watching 1080 sources. The 3D is great. I love the built in apps and pointer remote. Very nice smart tv.

Terrible Black Levels

This TV has a great display when showing full screen content in a bright room. However, when watching a movie with black bars, the quality really suffers. I exchanged for the same TV, expecting that I just had a bad screen, but the replacement, while having less bleed in the corners, was still unacceptable once the lights went out. There is bright splotches on 1/4 of the screen when using the auto dimming feature, that is very distracting during movie watching, and is unacceptable to me. I returned this for another TV with Full Array Back lighting.
If you like 3d, this is a good TV for that, and one of the few choices.

It lasted 3.5 years. Major issues with contrast and now vertical lines do not let you see much. It's the first time a TV dies on me. $1600 down the drain. Never getting LG products again!

I am a big fan of 3D and after extensive search found that LG is the best in that field, unfortunately by the end of the year it will be very hard to find 3D TV. I decided to buy this model knowing the next model will not have 3D. however this one has all the recent technology even including HDR Dolby vision which is not yet available . great 3D and great picture. the drawback is black level as some stated in their reviews but that is counteracted by better view angle. strongly recommend in particular if you like 3D

Bought a new house and now had room for a personal game room. After looking and researching, I finally got the LG. I got the most bang for my buck here. Size and features on a different brand would have cost me almost $700 more. Both TVs had the issue of some white colors bleeding over, but when calibrated right, it was almost gone. The Passive 3D makes me able to enjoy my 3D movies finally. No expensive glasses to buy. I also hear Sony and LG are no longer making 3D TVs anymore, so I got me the last good set. It's pretty heavy as well. But what do you expect from a 75" TV. Over all, I am satisfied with my TV. Now to set up this room....

The picture quality, the contrast, the resolution are just amazing for this size television. Not quite as good as OLED, but costs half the price. Really enjoying the 3D movies as well using only the passive glasses..... no batteries needed. The SMART features are easy to navigate. TV was installed by Geek Squad who professionally set it up on the wall and verified all the settings were setup to provide the best picture.

I've had this TV for a couple weeks and I absolutely love it. The picture is always fantastic, but when I'm watching 4K content the picture is believably sharp. My favorite has to be watching movies in 3D though. With a TV this size it feels like you're almost there. Just watched the Force Awakens in 3D and enjoyed it more than watching it in the theater.

The TV itself is of a very good quality, although it is very heavy, it will take two to three people to even put it on a table. I recommend Printing out the owners manual on line for the TV and also the remote if you would like to enjoy its full capability. There are no RCA jacks to hook up your audio system . you will need to buy an optical cable and a converter.

This is one of the best TVs on the market today. Although that can change overnight with the way technology advances at about the speed of light.
Picture is totally unbelievable, 3D is astonishing. Regular TV when in 3D actually tries to simulate the 3D effect. Absolutely Love It.

LG Brand is top shelf

I spent a lot of time reviewing large TV product line. I think the most important concerns are longevity, standing behind the brand, and ease of use. Passive 3D is by far the best way to go. Although 3D usage is an occasional use, powered glasses and lack of perfection are a serious concern of the other brands. LG has all others beat in this regard. And just think about handing a pair of powered glasses that are costly to replace to a 5 year old. Just keep a few extra pairs from the movie theater visits and you'll have plenty of "free spares". LG all the way.

Don't settle for any of the factory default picture mode settings. I have it on ISF Expert (Bright Room) and changed the following Picture Option settings:
Noise Reduction = Auto
MPEG Noise Reduction = Auto
TruMotion = Off
The video display is now picture perfect with 3D, 4K sources and non-4K sources! It is like I turned this 75" LCD TV into the biggest most affordable OLED TV without breaking the bank!

First one had ghosting issues

Going off other reviews I was wary of this TVs 3d quality. And sure enough the first one had a localized ghosting issue. In 3d the right side lower middle area would be blurry no matter where you stood. As if you didn't have glasses on. The swap out was pretty painless. The awesome customer sales lady set it all up in store. Second TV is perfect! No ghosting at all! 4k and Blu-rays look amazing. People have commented on the light bleed issue, I only seem to see it on my gaming or movie loading screens. Not during real use. The only other 3d option for 75in is a Sony for 5 grand. I would totally recommend this TV. Just beware of the 3d ghosting. Seems to be a minor manufacturing defect in some
