I’ve had this TV for two years this month. It still works like new!

The remote alone should lead you away from this TV. It's uncomfortable to hold and even more awkward to use. Do not believe the BBY description as "direct lit". This is an edge lit TV and a bad one at that. Confirm this on the LG website. I have attached picture below. These were taken in a pitch black room with no other source of light but the TV and no flash. What you see is the how the TV "lights" the picture. No amount of settings corrections will fix it or even lessen it without ruining the color and contrast. Find an actual direct lit TV and Best Buy needs to update the listing for this. I will be returning it as soon as possible.

There’s a few things that make me regret purchasing this product.. mainly the color bleed when it’s dark out and on screen, anytime some bright comes on it lights up the rest of the screen which is definitely annoying.. the remote isnt my favorite.

Was offered this TV as a “replacement” for a Vizio TV that I had purchased that I was told on the day of delivery was not actually available. I had researched and researched and researched the TV I wanted and this is the only one they had that was “comparable” and it is by far worse then my Hisense and Samsung TVs. I already called customer service once and tried to complain and was told there’s nothing they can do for me (of course) aside from apologize. Don’t waste your money, as you can see I’m watching this at night, the time most people watch tv with their families, and can’t even hardly see what’s going on even after trying to adjust the settings. Stay away from this TV if you can and either drop down a tier or spend the additional couple hundred and get the next best one.

This TV has a compatibility issue with PS5, which causes the menu to flicker and scramble pixels. When exiting a PS5 HDR game, the TV is not capable of switching out of HDR without the screen flickering and scrambling pixels (seen in attached screen shot). I have replaced my PS5 using my PS5 warranty, and it still was occurring. I have tried buying a new HD 4K HDMI cable as well as the geek squad employee. Neither cable helped. When talking to LG on the phone, their advice was to not play any games in HDR which defeats the purpose of buying a “gaming” TV. LG would not green-light geek squad for new parts, and I was told by geek squad that this is just the nature of the beast with this TV. My advice to anyone reading this is that this TV is not compatible with PS5 according to geek squad and LG themselves as it is not covered. Therefore, I do not recommend this TV to anybody who uses a PlayStation 5. Also, it is only edge lit and the best buy listing is incorrect. Being that it is edge lit this causes MANY bright spots on all edges of the TV.

Looks great if you only watch during the day or only bright vibrant colors. But try to watch something at night, any dark movie, or movies with the black bar on top and bottom and the light bleed from the edges is SO distracting. No amount of setting changes could fix it. Too bright. Save up for the oled

I'm going to say this is a good TV but has some issues you may not be able to get past. First of all, it is really good and very bright and it can overcome a really well lit room. The colors really pop and the picture is pleasing but accurate enough that it is not overblown like some others. It is also very thin and is recessed to fit the LG low profile mount so that it can be wall mounted with virtually no gap and it also includes an art gallery that is almost makes it look like a piece of art, though not as much as the Samsung Frame series. The sound quality is probably the best I have heard in a TV and has good punch and bass, which is unheard of in a TV this thin. It's main flaw, and depending on your needs it may be a fatal one, is that it is edge lit and (as I understand it) is a version of an IPS panel. So, since the panel has a lower native contrast to start with, in the dark it has to rely on local dimming to try to present a good image with contrast. This opens it up to even more problems. Mainly, local dimming is tough to do well on an edge lit TV anyway, and this TV struggles with it and it also causes some flash lighting, especially in content with black bars at the top and bottom of the image. For sports and well lit movies and shows it is completely unnoticeable but If you watch a lot of dark movies and shows in wide format, you might find it distracting. Another thing to know is that this unit is NOT a mini LED display (some folks believe that all QNEDs are, but this one is not) so there are a lot less points of light around the outer edges which means the local dimming zones have to be larger and are inherently more noticeable when the issue does occur. All of this being laid out, I haven't decided to return it yet. First, we watch in a room with windows all around and the brightness and colors are awesome and also, even when watching at night, we usually keep lights on. Last night, we put a small LED lamp behind the TV and purposely watched a dark-filled widescreen movie and we both commented that we hardly noticed anything, so bias lighting might just be the ticket for this set. Overall, I'll give it 4 stars for now.

Wonderful TV at this price point. We are loving the picture clarity along with the color display with no adjustments necessary out of the box. I was a bit concerned that increasing to 75" would make the pixels a bit more noticable, boy was I wrong and can honestly say that we have been in awe of the picture. I have not noticed any bleed thru, but we have not watched any letterbox movies yet or dismissing that some have reported back light bleedthru being an issue. This LG TV has all the apps, which was a must as adding another device such as a firestick/Roku just seems to raise the confusion factor and adds to the remote clutter. For the money spent I feel you get a fantastic TV in the LG QNED. I didn't rate the sound as this hooked into my AVR and have never used the built in speakers.
