Can not recommend from my personal experience. Horrible dark spot on whole bottom right side of screen as well as smaller one in middle that wont go away now. Also has terrible light bleed all around edges. Good luck trying to get someone on the phone or follow back up from a chat in customer service....still trying to get this thing replaced.....wish me luck.

LG has been concentrating on OLED TVs for a while now. Their LED TVs have lagged behind and other brands have certainly made better LED TVs than LG. I have always liked LG products, plus they are made in America. Well apparently, they decided to get with the program, I do a lot of research before I buy electronics, especially a TV. I hate the blooming effect that LED TVs suffer from. I bought a 50" and 70" LG TV a few years ago, inexpensive models, like $300 and $700. At first the blooming effect was terrible, completely distracting when I had black on the screen with a lighter background. It didn't even have to be a bright white, just a light color background. Well after a couple months of break-in that stopped. Sure, there is still blooming here and there but only when you get something like a Star Wars scene with a ship against dark space and stars. Go figure! Anyway this TV is loaded with tech and it shows. I bought a LG 77" C2 OLED, $3000 + tax, because it has a wonderful picture and no real weaknesses. That is true but there are a couple of things. There is a risk of burn-in which most people know, but what got me was the picture is dark with HDR content. Why should I spend that much money when HDR doesn't look better than a regular Blue Ray? Also, it's not great for watching sports if the signal isn't very clear. Some of my cable provider channels weren't giving me a great signal for the football games and the OLED made the signal worse. Apparently, football, hockey, and basketball aren't OLED strengths. The field background being the same light color causes some artifacts on the screen. I love football, movies and such. I am not a gamer. I am not going to say this TV is better than an OLED. But for me it is. After tax I saved $1400 dollars. The 77" to 75" is no real difference. The screen looks fantastic, the mini LEDs help with blooming, it gets more than bright enough, and the blacks are very deep. It seems to me the blacks on an OLED lose detail, but maybe that's just me. This sale of $1699 is a no-brainer. Good job LG and Best Buy. You can't tell all the way what a TV screen looks like in the store. The lighting and programming are different than what you get at home. I give Best Buy a lot of credit that they don't give you grief for returning something, even a real expensive TV. If I would have been satisfied with the OLED, I would have kept it. Thanks again Best Buy, good people, good service.

Excellent TV from LG - I was between the QNED and OLED LG models, and ultimately I chose the QNED because I prefer a brighter image over deeper colors. I was also able to go up a TV size for roughly the same price (75" QNED vs 65" OLED). TV features all of LGs premium setting and WebOS interface; Dolby Atmos, Filmaker Mode, etc. The audio quality out of this set is a real standout as it has a lot of volume without adding a soundbar. Other nice feature is 2 - HDMI 2.1 ports for 4k resolution at 120 Hz, which makes this set ready for PS5 and Xbox Series X gamers. For the most tech savvy buyers you will notice slight blooming, and you will not get the true blacks of the OLED model, however in a space with a lot of light the QNEDs brightness provides consistent quality image. Highly recommend

Very good on-axis, not good off axis. This tv looks amazing on-axis but I wouldn't recommend it if you view off axis as the whole screen turns gray the further off axis you look. On-axis viewing has inky blacks and this tv is very bright but you have to change some settings from the start. It is automatically in power saving mode so you have to turn that off if you want the brightest picture. Also, the local dimming is set to off so go in and set it to medium or high depending on your preference. Also, when you watch your first movie, it will ask you if you want your default to be movie mode but I wouldn't recommend it unless you like a darker view. Other than that, find some test patterns on YouTube and play around with the settings to suit your taste. If you don't have to worry about off axis viewing then this tv can look stunning

I had purchased this for my living room that is very bright. This is Mini LED technology and I think the picture was really good. However, I did see a lot of blooming around objects on screen with black background. If you are viewing from the front, the picture looks great. The moment you view the TV from side angles, you see a lot of blooming in general. Also I am not a big fan of the WebOS. I think it's too cluttered with a lot going on. I ultimately ended up returning this and bought the Sony X95K Mini LED and I'm really happy with that!

I was going back and forth between a C2 OLED and the QNED85 and ended up going with the QNED for the brightness and the no risk of burn-in. Let me tell you, this thing is amazing! Placing this next to an OLED I could hardly see a difference. The colors are bright, vibrant, and punchy. The blacks are dark and contrasty. Blooming is pretty minimal and is only really noticeable with off-angle viewing. As with any tv you will need to tweak the picture settings to get the best quality, but I am very happy with this tv!

Rplaced older Plasma model with this LG QNED 75" TV. Excellent colors and pictures. Easy to set up and operate. Very smart remote that automatically learned other components such as Blue Ray player and Sterio system. Overall very satisfied with this purchase. Colors are as good as an OLED tv.

My first LG TV, after years of buying Samsung. We are absolutely thrilled with this 75” QNED TV. Amazing colors and clarity. The remote control is awesome….it also controls our Samsung sound bar and DVD player. The voice command feature is really handy. My only suggestion is that it should have the ability for the keys to light up at night. Again, very happy with this purchase.

And 12 years later after two months of researching, I picked this TV. I'm coming from a Samsung 63" Plasma TV bought in Jan 2011. I was overdue for an upgrade. OLED is too pricey for me. My top three reasons I picked this TV was for Mini-LED technology, 75" (was a must), and 4K at 120Hz. Plus, November is a good time to buy a TV. Awesome picture compared to what I had!!! Loving it!!!

Great TV... we love it... excellent picture...easy to use and figure out...does everything we want.. very capable TV and intuitive. The Geek Squad crew installed it for us...they get a 5+ Star review too... on time, excellent, efficient, personable...made sure we knew how to operate... showed us plenty of the capabilities. They were very exact of installation positioning and securing. Thanks... greatly appreciated.

Best TV i've owned. It is my main TV in a living room so light is an issue where OLED is not an option. Quality is fantastic clear, and overall great responsive TV. When powering up splotches are noticeable in the corners but disappear when a picture is present. and I do not see them when a movie is playing. I do not use the built in Smart application, and it si the only pain point as it has to be updated every so often which requires the remote that comes with the TV,

Great tv for a good price. It was a little glitchy at first but I have not had an issue since, it’s been about a year. Works great with my Bose sound bar and the picture is fantastic. Very to easy to use but will need some help hanging on the wall.

Had this for a few days now, caught a bit of a sale. As much as I really wanted an OLED, I opted for this because I have a lot of light streaming into my living room at different times of the day from a few different sets of windows...and felt those reflections on an OLED screen would be an issue. (I also saved about $800 vs. purchasing an OLED, too). I also like the overall picture brightness. I went with LG because I have two other 60" TVs I purchased 4 years ago and they still look and sound great. This was a living room upgrade purchase (size and quality) so the old LG will be going in a spare bedroom now. Don't really like Samsung, and Sony's comparably sized TV was too pricey. Larger size is perfect for my open space. It's not as light and lean as OLED, but the picture is clear and vibrant. Having said that I am a Total Tech member so if any issues arise, at least I have something to fall back on. But so far, so great!!

Iy was time to replace my 10 year old 55" Samsung LED TV that I bought in December 2013. After researching for several weeks, I decided on the LG 75" 85 series QNED Mini-LED. The picture is bright and colorful. I like the Web OS and all it has to offer. I no longer need an external device for streaming and I am able to make adjustments of the picture to my liking. I also purchased a separate sound bar, the LG S90QY. I did consider an OLED, however, for the money, I was able to purchase both the TV and the soundbar for less than the price of a 75" OLED and still have an excellent picture. Whatever TV you decide to purchase, be sure to go Best Buy so you can compare for yourself and purchase what looks good to you and is within your price range.

This TV is awesome! Major upgrade from what I had before. The picture is phenomenal! It's very clear and detailed. Plenty bright for a bright room. Side angle does not vary in any way. Slightly lower than an OLED but right up there with the best of them. I only stream and have not had a problem with that. I use the antenna occasionally and the picture quality is superb. I have a surround sound system so I have no idea how the internal speakers are, but I'd suggest a surround sound system no matter what TV I had.
