I got the 75 inch smart tv. Love it. When I watch a sporting event it feels as if I am there. My husband loves it so much that he watches the ballgame on it instead of attending one.

TV had internal cracked panel my mistake is i didn't use the TV until 3 months after the purchase and when i did i found that TV had horizontal and vertical lines i thought it may be nothing and LG support would be able to fix it as i had warranty on the TV but to my disappointment they came out and said they wont and classified that i damaged the TV and won't cover it. Not buying LG products anymore they suck big time and this is a fraud with Consumer they make so expensive yet such flimsy defective products and on top of that wont cover or even help fix their product.

    Amazing Smart TV

I purchased this tv over a month ago right around the Black Friday savings period (it was $800 off at $1699). All I can say is I love it! The SmartThinQ technology is great in the fact that I can ask my remote to search for a certain movie and it shows it on all available channels on my cable box, streaming services, even videos on the web about it. What is super nice is the technology works with my cable box (I have charter/Spectrum) and I can tell the remote to switch to Fox Sports Midwest and it automatically goes to the HD version of that channel. You can even set favorite channels in the home menu of the smart tv for easy scrolling to as well (although I love the voice option). It works great with Google Assistant as well, I can tell my remote to turn off all the lights in my basement (since I have smart lights) and it automatically uses the google home network and turns them off! It’s like having a google home mini built into the tv. I also have a PS4 and I tell the remote to switch to PS4, it switches to the hdmi port it’s on, turns the PlayStation on for me, and sets the tv picture and sound mode to Game mode (which is optimized for the PlayStation). The only knock I can give on the tv is it is edge lit, and so you can tell for example if a white image pops up in the middle of the screen over a black backdrop, that there’s light shooting up to it (since the backdrop around that image turns a gray color). If you are someone looking for a full array tv then this wouldn’t be for you. However, I looked into full array and to get one in this size would’ve easily been a grand more, and this edge lit is still great ultra HD (and the fact it has 4 different 4K modes is great for future proofing your device).

I’m more than satisfied with this television! I’m a huge Samsung fan because of the vivid colors their televisions have, but this one blew me away! The colors are bright and the picture is fantastic. I use it with the stand and its very sturdy. Although I use a sound bar, the sound quality in the TV itself is great. I love that it has Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision plus it supports super HD. My Netflix movies have never been so great! The magic remote is a huge plus because you don’t have to keep clicking to select things, just point. Makes it easier for entering passwords. This TV was a breeze to set up and was compatible with all my external devices. Two thumbs up!

Awesome for streaming, movies, and gaming...but...

This display is great for streaming Netflix and Amazon. The ability to display in HDR and 4k is truly remarkable. Gaming is also pretty good if you are into that. However, if you are viewing through cable or dish, your mileage may vary. I don't expect a 4k picture from a non-4k source, but this display struggles to resolve artifacts from "HD" sources like cable and satellite. There is noticeable motion-blur (regardless of settings...trust me, I've tried multiple configurations) during sports, scrolling text, and even moving mouths of news broadcasters. While this may not matter to you, it does to me and that's why I can't give it 5 stars. Like I said, I never expected 4k quality from a less than 4k source, but my 60" Vizio (that this display replaced) did a better job resolving these motion blur artifacts than this one does. Perhaps it's the size (which is AWESOME) or perhaps its the internal processing, but I find it lacking in that area. So, in summary, if you are only going to use this display to watch movies from high-quality sources or play video games...then it's a no-brainer. If it's your "daily driver", you will find that these motion blur artifacts are difficult to mitigate.

This TV gives a beautiful picture and is so user friendly! Although the screen is large the clarity is great and the picture has minimal distortion from an angle. Built in assistant and user friendly features on the remote make it a pleasure to use. Features were daunting at first but turned out to be relatively easy to learn.

The LG TV has a fantastic picture from every angle, the colors are rich and the blacks are deep. The smart remote is lacking in some capabilities and is not the friendliest. The smart features and connectivity are easy to use.

This is by far my biggest tv I have ever bought. It was difficult to mount and you have to have two people. The tv is super easy to use and the picture and sound is great. It does bluetooth so we can use our speaker in our living room as a sound bar. I have not been able to get it to work on alexa yet and it does have a google assist on the remote. I hooked it up to a plug that we can turn the tv on and off with alexa. I don't like that the tv feature does not have a turn off after an extended time. You can use a sleeper but you always have to put it on. Also, it will not allow you to use a list with direct tv but will connect to your box to change the channel and browse. The smart remote is kinda nice as it works like a mouse on your tv. I'm happy so far and glad we purchased it.

This TV is truly amazing as it greatly improved our 4K experience. Must purchase a smart remote with this TV to maximize the capabilities and to drive upon technology integration. I purchased the geek squad warranty as I bought this one off the shelf. No issues so far and backed by a Five-Year warranty so if something comes up it's covered. Setup configuration easy, user interface simple, you have the option to connect to your Google home as well as a smartphone app. You're just a person that wants a push play and does that well to. A lot of tech easy to use and understand so don't be afraid.

lg 75" 8070 with 3700 hours on it. Not happy

I tried my hardest to not leave bad reviews but this just keeps getting better. So I researched for 3 months for a 75" tv. Settled on the tcl series 6. I go in with full intension of buying brand new. Get there and salesman just keeps bringing me to this 75" lg 8070 but it was open box. Honestly looked way better than the tcl. (Because they had native 4k on look) loved the magic remote and interface. Had scuff marks all over the screen and back of it but he assured it was just finger prints and smudges. Said he would buff em out and have it looking brand new. Was prbly the hardest decision ever but I ended up going with what he recommended. Paid pretty close to retail for no box no mounting screws for stand. Next day I get the tv and nothing was done to the tv at all after I waited a full day. Anyways not any major issues. After 2 trips to hardware store I finally got it up and mounted. Immediately noticed why the tv was returned in first place. On a dark screen if even the tiniest logo pop up the whole screen wether center left or right would bloom. So I got past that cuz the interface is off the charts with the magic remote. So I'm happy and 2 days later I'm messing with the settings I end up finding out it's almost got 4000 hours on it. That's a year's worth of screen being on. Well anyways I have no choice but to take it back and start this process all over again. Extremely disappointed. Paying almost full price. $1600.

So I decided to get the biggest television I could, hoping that the resolution wouldn't be a problem due to it's great size. I have to tell you this television has no problem with resolution. Picture is crystal clear all the time. It also has apps built in so I dont need chromecast or my phone to go into YouTube. I saved some hdmi ports. Less things to plug in so less wires. The picture is excellent. I find myself looking for visual movies I've seen before to see it on this television. Its a whole new experience with this television. You will be very satisfied.

This TV is incredible. The picture is so good it almost looks fake. The only issue I have noticed and I really think it is because the sales guy at best buy explained the different of full back lit and side lit screens. If the screen is all black and there is a white logo or lettering the black gets washed out with light above and below the white lettering. This does not effect the picture when watching a movie or sports. Usual see it during the credits or between shows. Other than this one quirk the TV ROCKS!

Nice picture, love the 75” screen. The “magic remote’ is nice. But the remote is way too LOUD when clicking buttons Which it came with two options for the stand, the one in the pic, and the one where you have two small ‘feet’ like some of the other models. Wish it had Apple TV airplay natively, it does not. Wish it had Android TV OS on it, not the LG OS on it. I’ve got an Nvidia shield hooked up to it, so that takes care of all the ‘smart tv’ shortcomings.

I've never owned an LG until now. I was looking to get a Samsung but wanted the biggest bang for my buck. The sales guy offered to show me this LG. I was apprehensive until I saw it. I was extremely surprised by the quality and the price. I never looked at anything else and am very satisfied with my purchase.
