Not Worth The Money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this TV in my house for a week, and today I told Best Buy to come get it. This TV replaced an old plasma and I have to say the 15 year old plasma is a LOT better. The image just isn't crisp no matter what you do to the settings. The colors are oversaturated no matter what you do (or washed out, it was one or the other always)...the sound is HORRIFIC. I tried every setting it had and adjusted it by hand it still sucked. If you don't have a TV at all then the NanoCell is fine (it's better than nothing)...but if you want a good picture and a pleasant viewing experience, and you want your games to look as good as they're supposed to, don't get the Nano. Go for an OLED, even if you have to go smaller. That's what I did and I'm a LOT happier. Love LG in general, but this TV wasn't worth the money. I get a better picture on my laptop.

Not for sports fans, better w/ other media source

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As a screen it’s great but the limited App availability through LG leaves a lot to be desired, especially if you watch a lot of sports. NBA, Sunday Ticket, and ESPN apps are some examples of what isn’t available on LG. Airplay does not work consistently so unfortunately, using that as a secondary option has been limited. Finally, it’s a slow performing TV. After powering on the TV, it can take up to 30 seconds to access the main menu where the sources and apps are. I’ve since added a gaming console and use it as my media source. If I had the opportunity, I would purchase a different tv - one from a brand with a more robust app store and better performance.

Limited app store to stream

I have to go to the internet to access BET Plus, Philo, and other streaming apps. I guess that is why was on sale. Total tech is coming out so maybe they can help.

75 inch LG Nanocell tv

I understand that they are pumping 4k into the floor models but the picture is good and bad. While watching golf the picture has a blur fading in and out all the time. Not sure what it is so this tv is going to end up being the kids gaming tv.
