Great TV. Lots of apps. Remote control is great and works all my other devices. Picture quality is amazing in 4k.

Keep a couple of things in mind while reading this review: 4K is not new, but there are still very few content options for streaming. I bought this TV and not an OLED or something more expensive because I know there aren't going to be MAJOR changes in that fact any time soon. Home wifi and ISPs are struggling to keep up with streaming huge amounts of audio/video data effectively, and often still throttle connections based on location and demand. I put the sound quality as "average," because TV speakers are designed for you to use them until you outsource your audio to a better option (TV speakers are all but useless), which makes the TV a glorified monitor for your input sources. This TV is great. We have had no problems with LG TVs since we've owned them (even our 10 year old 47" LED still holds up quite nicely). 4K UHD and the HDR feature are both great, and the eARC output is able to support Dolby Atmos with virtually no issues. Where we get technical and picky: I have a new Apple TV 4K, and I now only use it for the Spectrum app. Here's why.. The eARC is a good audio output tool for high quality and high speed audio, but for some reason, doesn't pass Dolby Atmos through to our soundbar--after some research, this may be more of an Apple issue. Quoted on their website "Apple TV 4K uses a high bandwidth form of Dolby Atmos that doesn’t work over ARC connections." My assumption is because there is one more connection point (Apple TV--HDMI 1, audio output through eARC) instead of straight from the LG smart interface through eARC to the Sonos soundbar. This is a small and simple gripe, but it causes me to have to switch back and forth from Apple TV to the main TV to be able to watch streaming content on HBO/Netflix/Hulu/etc and take advantage of 4K UHD and Dolby Atmos simultaneously. It makes a difference between that and normal 5.1 if the audio is mixed and produced specifically for those higher end protocols.

The TV has a great picture and features. I am a little disappointed in the features available in the WebOS however. I also tried to plugin an external webcam to the USB port but could not get my voice calling apps to work. There is no built in connectivity to common voice calling apps like Skype, Google Dou, Facetime etc…

I really like the magic remote that is included with the tv. It reminds me of the Nintendo Wii remote. I also like the updated Lg webOS. It is really good and even though I use an Apple TV 4K I would definitely not mind using it. Speakers on this Tv are really good for a tv. They can’t compete with a good audio solution such as sound bar or surround sound system but they are very good.

Beautiful TV, Movies are better than being at a theater. Football games,,, oh football games,, unbelievable, clear, crisp you can almost feel the hits. The magic remote, well maybe I need to go to Hogwarts because the directions are lacking and I am sure I have not reached the full potential of what one can accomplish with the wand of a thousand buttons.

Had this tv for awhile and i must say we love it. Always owned a different brand before this and will never buy anything but an LG from this point forward. Amazing picture and clarity. We also love the LG stations.

TV is awesome. Was a Samsung guy. This may have made me change my mind. Pictures are clear and crispy. Cool mouse feature on the remote which I’m still trying to get use to. Smart tv options built in
