We bought a 55” Lg about 9 years ago it was getting time to upgrade (it was still working fine) and we needed to replace a old Sony that was on its last leg in our family room when I set this up TV up and all I can say is WOW! the picture quality has come along ways in 9 years! The 9 year old tv was 3 times more money and not near the picture quality. I would recommend this to anyone.

The quality of the picture is undeniable. I thought I would enjoy being able to connect all my lg devices together, but the soundbar does not turn on and off with the tv. You have to manually go to the settings, click devices, and the select the speakers. My DVD player is always on unless I manually turn it off. The remote/tv “instructions” are useless because it doesn’t describe what all the tv options/features are and how to use it. This tv is quite large, and the hdmi connections are in the center back portion of the tv. So it makes it near impossible to switch out the cords. We didn’t think it’d be an issue since we can use the magic remote or our cell phone to control the smart devices, but as I said they don’t sync the way we want. There is also no shortcut way to go straight to the dashboard. You have to pull up the menu and click, which is not a big deal but there’s like 20 shortcut ways to get to various channels and settings but the home button doesn’t take you home. Seems silly. I mounted this on a full motion mount. Another big mistake! I have a very open area around my fireplace so this tilting style was not meant for a fireplace that sticks out. The tv is beautiful, but you can see all the wires and ugliness since this tv is rather large. It’s glossy, however if you don’t have a way to tilt, you may not be able to see it well if say you’re doing dishes in one room and looking over. Am I so unhappy that I’m going to dismount the tv and return it? No. It’s not worth the trouble, but I do kind of wish I had a different tv.

I got this at a great price. It was open box. Color is vivid, picture is clear. As most TVs speakers leave a lot to be desired.

This is a HUGE TV. It has a bright beautiful picture. The remote is probably the only downside of the unit. It is a little difficult to get used to. And its oddly shaped and bottom heavy. This is not a deal breaker though and once you use it some it becomes less of an issue.
