This TV has an excellent picture. The colors are very bright. It has solid technology although it does not have the latest technology it does have 4K. The interface is excellent and very easy to navigate. The magic remote has all the top features that matter including microphone and an on screen pointer comes up to facilitate using the menus. Love this TV. I mounted it on the wall and although it weighs 78 pounds I got a mount that can handle 145 pounds which I felt more comfortable with. This TV at 75" still has to be mounted only about 32"-36" from the bottom of the TV to the floor. If you mount it too high and sit in a sofa or recliner you will find it cranes your neck. See attached photo, the height in the photo to bottom is 32" and it is very comfortable to view.

I've only had this TV for just over a week and can say it's been great so far! This is my 2nd 75" 4K TV. The 1st one was a 6000 series (75UM6970) I bought last Nov of 2019. This TV (75UN8570) has a much better feature set and options. It has 120Hz native refresh rate, Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, IPS, Film Make mode HDR10, HLG and much more. The LG 75UM6970 has some but not all of these features. It has now been moved to the master bedroom for my wife and we both still enjoy it. Playing XBox One X and PS4 is just amazing on UN8500! The graphics are mind blowing and I have a full surround system. So the audio is spectacular also. My wife and I spent this passed Sunday watching movies in the man cave and were completely blown away. The movies looked as if we were watching them at the moment they were being filmed. So life like! This is a great 4K TV with a modest price for all of the options and features you get. Thoroughly impressed and pleased with this purchase!

Amazing bang for the buck. 4k with native 120hz refresh rate on a ips panel is great. Not as good as my lg oled picture wise ,but it's close enough and for quite a bit less. At $1000 for a 75' this things a steal. The speakers are adequate but I rarely use them as I already had a sound bar waiting for this great tv. It does appear to have some type of local dimming but not much like maybe 3 or 9 zones. It's definitely bright enough either way for use in my bright living room. Don't notice reflections on the screen unless it's turned off. My preferred setting is game mode for my gaming consoles. Expert bright for television and film maker mode for movies. Only con was the best buy delivery service they weren't able to deliver it on time. They rescheduled me for the following week. Other then that I am very pleased with my purchase.

This replaced a 70 vizio I had and it didn’t disappoint. I did a lot of comparing between this LG and Samsung’s comparable model. I ended on this one due to the value and features. The Web OS and magic remote won me over vs the Samsung’s Tigen OS and standard remote. Best Buy had both brands on display and they were similar so I went with reviews and web system and remote.

This television is GREAT for the price. We had a 75” OLED prior to this tv, and it had a better picture but not $3500 better! That tv broke after 2 years, and we were told it would cost 3k to fix so we decided to get this one. For 1k, this tv is amazing! I would definitely buy this again. The only differences I can see is during gaming or if you’re close to the tv, the picture isn’t stellar. If you sit a normal distance from the tv, you can barely tell a difference between this and the OLED. Just buy it!

Great tv! A little hard to wrk all the features, definitely have to play around with it. Great graphics and picture, purchased this tv because I had a 70in hisense/roku previously that just went out and stopped working shortly after a year! (Waste of money) This time I paid a little more for a better brand of tv and it’s worth every penny

We love the TV in the 3 months that we've had it but now it has black lines on the screen and the screen goes blank after 10 minutes. We can turn it off, wait a minute and it will come back on but the same problems occur after a few minutes. The picture is beautiful (when it works), WebOS is great and the built-in Apple TV app has left our actual Apple TV unemployed. LG's tech support has been frustrating and we aren't sure if they are actually going to do anything after a week of back and forth through email. They keep asking for more pictures and / or information that has already been provided. It's starting to feel like an avoidance effort. We are very disappointed at this point and I regret not buying the Best Buy extended warranty.

This TV is garbage, no wonder it’s on clearance. The viewing angle is very narrow, color is washed out. 4k @ 120hz is finicky at best with XBX and PS5. This is going back. Menu is cumbersome, and audio hesitations are frequent.

We bought this item as an “open box” and viewed it working in the store. Unfortunately, when it was professionally installed, the screen was cracked. Good news is, the store issued a refund for us to purchase another TV,

Some Drawbacks include: Direct lit TV which means no dimming zones, if grey blacks dont bother you (75" is ips panel), great option for home theater otherwise go with 82" VA panel which has better contrast ratio but worse viewing angles, Colors are great for the price! good for gaming, hdmi 2,1 support for hdmi 3 and 4, low input lag, Bummer doesnt include Variable Refresh Rate but love the motion interpolation at 120hz (Soap Opera effect) Bottom Line: if you want a Home Theater TV and dont want to spend 2000$+ this tv is a great option because it provides dolby vision( though it isnt the brightest tv) and 120hz for smooth Gaming experience with low input lag, Ready for Series X!

This LG 75 inch TV gives you everything you need at a great price ! Dolby Vision looks fantastic and self adjusts the settings filmmaker mode looks great also.it even has Dolby Atmos and eARC but you will need one of the new 2.1 HDMI cables that support eARC this tv has so much to offer for the price and everything looks great we use it mainly for movies in our theater room but even Netflix, Prime and Vudo look great and yes Vudo and Netflix play in Dolby Vision and Atmos you can also connect 2 LG rear speakers direct with blue tooth no wires ! a new firmware update coming in 2020 will allow any brand of blue tooth rears to connect you can`t go wrong with this tv ! we love it..

This is our closest Best Buy and I am so happy it was. My wife and I were looking for a new TV for the living room. She already knew what she was looking for, in terms of size and which brands she wanted to look at. I, however, have no idea about which TV is better and what specs are. Diana from the store was amazing. She took her time to show us multiple TVs in our price range and different specs. She even dumbed it down for me to understand, which gave it a bonus. She convinced us to get this tv and it has been the best purchase. Picture quality is great and its super easy to use. Glad we went with this one, instead of the Samsung we wanted.

This TV is awesome. Love the picture, the sharpness and the color. The refresh rate is excellent. I couldn't have chosen a better product. Movies are fantastic and the sound quality is unmatched. I don't need any additional audio sources.

Really awesome TV. Love it! Knocking off 1 star because LG App Store doesn't have some of the apps I need, like AT&T. Also, viewing angle isn't as great as I think it should be and in very dark scenes, black looks more like patchy gray. Also, the "Magic Remote is super awesome with the exception that I wish it was backlit.

Set the TV up in under minutes, including connecting it to WiFi. The remote acts like a computer mouse, you don’t have to “click, click, click” back and forth to letters when entering passwords or searching. The picture is very clear and crisp. Great value when compared to other TVs that cost twice as much. I would recommend.

This TV is huge. Colors are vivid and clear. Interaction with TV through the magic remote is fantastic and easy. I am extremely impressed with it. Access to streaming channels and content is incredible. The internal speakers are more than adequate for 20w. I will be purchasing a Dolby Atmos capable sound bar soon. The ghosting effect on sports is reduced through the 120hz but can still be seen. I own an LG 55" from 2015 and there is a remarkable improvement on the reduction of this issue. The 4k resolution blows you away. Very happy with this purchase.

So I have always been an LG fan especially OLED technology. Yes you can get a Sony or Samsung with darker blacks and better contrast. But lets be realistic people. Does the human eye catch every darn pixel. Be your own person and go look at the screens you want. You will like this 75 inch tv. I was surprised on the quality and clear picture. The HDR and Dolby output for streaming is fantastic. Did I mention this is a TV at around 1100.0 price for the this size. I am glad I pulled the trigger. I like to research before a purchase. And as well you should for a TV investment. But the deal was just right and TV is excellent for movies, streaming, and sports. Its a big size so make sure to measure twice and twice again and mount it right. Been only 7 days but I am very impressed. Why spend so much more when the build, quality, and clarity of picture is great. These times we need to be smart with money. I am glad I got this TV. Right time. Great work LG.
