The new TV I ended up with is excellent. The folks at the store that sold me this tv were excellent. My experience was NOT excellent! I ordered an 'excellent' open box S95TR for $504, almost $1,000 off! I received a different LG sound bar in the S95TR box (see pictures). Phone support told me they would exchange it for me at a store for a new one. I also purchased an open box 77" B4 that took me 2 hours to pick up. It didn't even turn on and was also rated excellent. I had to make plans to use a vehicle to get both back to a store, where they wouldn't exchange the sound bar for the right one, nor did they have another open box tv. The store did give me $200 off a new TV.

I just bought a 77" LG OLED B4 (2024) it was delivered today but after they mount it on the wall i notice that the TV has a vertical lines on the screen is this normal? How can i get rid of that line so annoying? I spend almost $2,200 including delivery and installation. I think the price is not worth it i should just buy a regular UHD or QLED is much cheaper and way better picture quality.

I recently upgraded to the LG 77" B4 OLED, and the picture quality is nothing short of spectacular. The deep blacks and vibrant colors make movies and shows come alive. HDR content, especially in Dolby Vision, looks cinematic. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth motion for sports and gaming. The webOS interface is intuitive, and streaming apps load quickly. While the built-in sound is decent, pairing it with a soundbar elevates the experience. Overall, an excellent value for an OLED TV.

The image is much better than I expected. Handles dark scenes amazingly well. Setup is easy and UI is pretty clean. If I had to complain about anything it would be startup and shutoff times are longer than expected. Not a big issue and does not effect viewing experience at all. Just something that stands out to me.

The LG 77" B4 Series OLED TV is a standout choice for anyone seeking a premium home theater experience without venturing into flagship pricing territory. With its 2024 refresh, LG continues to deliver top-notch picture quality, impressive smart features, and sleek design in its OLED lineup. Picture Quality: This TV shines with its self-lit OLED panel, offering perfect blacks, infinite contrast, and vibrant colors that make both movies and games look stunning. The 77-inch screen size enhances immersion, especially in dim or dark rooms, where OLED truly excels. Motion handling is smooth, and upscaling of lower-resolution content is solid. HDR support, including Dolby Vision, adds an extra layer of visual depth and realism. Performance: The B4 is powered by LG's latest a7 AI Processor Gen6, which does a commendable job optimizing image and sound in real time. While it's not quite as powerful as the processors in LG's higher-end models, it's more than capable for everyday viewing and most advanced content. Gaming Features: Gamers will appreciate the low input lag, support for HDMI 2.1, VRR, and ALLM. It’s not the most gaming-focused OLED in LG’s lineup, but it performs well for both casual and competitive players. Smart TV Experience: webOS continues to be one of the more user-friendly smart platforms available. The interface is clean and responsive, and it offers quick access to major streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and more. Voice control via Google Assistant or Alexa is a nice bonus, and the Magic Remote remains a handy navigation tool. Design and Build: True to LG’s OLED aesthetic, the B4 has an ultra-thin profile and a minimalist design that looks great wall-mounted or on a stand. Build quality feels premium, even if it's not as razor-thin as some of the higher-tier OLEDs. Sound: Built-in audio is decent for casual viewing, with support for Dolby Atmos helping to enhance spatial sound somewhat. However, for a setup of this scale, pairing it with a good soundbar or home theater system will elevate the experience significantly. Final Thoughts: The LG 77" B4 Series OLED TV is a fantastic option for anyone looking to upgrade to a large-format OLED without going all-in on flagship pricing. It delivers superb picture quality, reliable performance, and a rich feature set that makes it well-suited for movies, sports, and gaming alike. While not the most advanced model LG offers, the B4 strikes an excellent balance between performance and value.

The LG B4 OLED TV offers exceptional picture quality with over 8 million self-lit pixels, delivering deep blacks and vibrant colors. It features a native 120 Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 ports, making it ideal for gaming with support for VRR and G-Sync/FreeSync. While it lacks the higher brightness levels of the C4 model, it remains a solid choice for both movie enthusiasts and gamers.

This panel provides a great viewing experience. True blacks , poppy colors, excellent viewing angles, and of course it’s BIG! Low latency mode works really well with my consoles. The 4k media I consume looks great. Easy to dial in settings to get to your personal viewing preferences. The only negative— and this is pretty typical is the “smart” in the tv. I was having an audio sync problem with my soundbar I could not get just right. Until I switched to using a roku, it solved sync problems. Upon doing that, picture quality was noticeably better than the built in tv apps— they have to be capping bitrate in the native apps or roku just processes better. -1 star for needing to add extra device to solve problems that should not exist in the first place.

This is my 2nd LG OLED after my previous 65” A1. I decided I wanted to upgrade to a larger model and saw great reviews on this one at a reasonable price, too. I walked into Best Buy after researching online to come and check it out and the first TV that caught my eye was this one (without knowing it was the one I’d researched). I have not been disappointed. The 120hz refresh is a big upgrade over the 60hz I had, as I watch tons of sports. The picture quality is excellent. I’m sure there are better models out there, but for the money, I think this is an absolutely amazing TV. I couldn’t believe the difference in size between a 65” and 77”. Really loving it!

One month of ownership, so far it's an awesome TV. The TVs user interface is slow as poopoo, so get an entertainment device to use your apps (PS5, Apple TV 4K, etc). A warning to all who have not owned one of these LGs before: The mounting holes are NOT CENTERED ON THE TV. They are centered on the bottom half of the TV. If you have a mount already on your wall, and your current TV is centered, this TV will be TOO HIGH. MY TV IS TOO HIGH!!! LG IF YOU'RE READING THIS MY NECK PROBLEMS ARE YOUR FAULT. NO I CANNOT MOVE MY WALL MOUNT LOWER, IT'S CARVED INTO THE SOUL OF MY HOME. Please LG, include lowering adapter brackets with your TVs. You already charge an arm and a leg for these things, just include a plate that gives me the OPTION to have my TV at a proper height. Beautiful Picture. If you're going to stream stuff, make sure your entertainment system is hooked up to ethernet. You'd hate to lose your 4K picture because of poor internet connection. Also make sure you're getting atleast 100Mbps download speeds from your internet provider if you want to stream 4K. Consider this a friendly reminder to run an internet speed test to make sure you're getting the bandwidth you pay for. If you're not, call and complain. They're throttling you. They'll pretend that they're going to send out a technician to "assess the wiring on your home", but really they just need to press a button. Agree to the technician appointment, he does not exist. This will likely take multiple phone calls. You WILL have to talk to a robot. THE ROBOT WILL TEST YOUR PATIENCE. You will talk to multiple people that will reset your router remotely. Two or three times, separate phone calls, multiple days. They are trying to break you. Agree to everything. Do not quit. Really good TV.

Stunning TV. went in looking for a large tv for a movie room and originally was going to go with an 86 inch model of lower quality. After seeing this in my movie room I knew I made the right decision Have owned OLEDS for years and never had any issues before. Deep true blacks and vibrant colors. Excellent sound without a sound bar. HIGHLY recommend.

    Great Picture - Annoying remote

If it were not for the weird pointer coming out of the remote onto the screen I would give it 5 stars. The remote is constantly bringing up an unwanted pointer / mouse like pointer on the screen and is is WAY out of sinc with pointing the remote at the screen. Very annoying. However, the picture is awesome and and I like that I can run my receiver/home theater from the eARC HDMI input/output and the remote runs my receiver. Another issue I have, but it may be the receiver's issue is that I cannot display the receiver settings on the screen when connected via eARC. Not sure why that is but it is annoying as well because you cannot adjust speaker settings without being able to see the on screen menu. So that requires using a different input - output HDMI's and it's just a hassle. Again, may the Denon's fault. If you can get past these issues, the TV is great.

LG TVs offer stunning picture quality, especially with their OLED models—deep blacks, vibrant colors, and smooth motion. The webOS platform is user-friendly and fast, with all major streaming apps available. Audio is decent, but a soundbar improves the experience. Great for movies, gaming, and everyday viewing

But the picture quality of this one I just couldn’t look away from. I wanted a tv that movies and my favorite shows would look great on. I’m glad I chose this tv the quality is amazing. My shows never looked so good.
