TV didn't make it 18 hours without a major issue
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Spent $2700 and the hassle of transporting a 77" TV for it to be a paperweight within 18 hours of purchase. Status LED on, screen will not turn on. LG support held my hand through basic troubleshooting steps including the removal of the plastic film on the screen, but i have to seek repair of the unit myself. If it wasn't a massive hassle to repackage and transport the unit, I'd currently be returning it instead of writing this review.

Horrible Quality Control
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just spent 3 Grand on a 77 inch OLED riddled with horrible Vertical banding. It's pretty obvious there is NO quality control taking place for these televisions.

My 2 cents….
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having adopted the LG OLED TV’s since the lg C9, I was confident in the upgrade. Out of the box installation was easier as the weight has dramatically decreased in this years model (2022). Set up was very easy right off the bat. However, I am familiar with the magic remote and needed to fine tune the sensitivity. A lot of people dislike the pointer style as tracking can waiver. Personally I really like the concept and once dialed in becomes natural. As I use this tv for gaming as well, was excited to play around with the game optimizer settings when used with ps5. The console shines on the oled tvs. The C2 as expected. Being a bit of a tech enthusiast I delved into the various picture settings based on the ambient light of the room. The set out of the box has a decent quality but a little tinkering can make blossom. Maybe consider a calibration after a few hundred hours. I like the fact LG has been implementing 120hz/4K on all HDMI ports. Just make sure you get decent cables for the higher bandwidth. I run Apple TV 4K with Dolby Vision and it looks fantastic. Now here is my only negative. As an avid soccer viewer I have had to play around with the settings to try and eliminate judder whilst streaming a game. This is personal preference as I had my C9 dialed in. We are at the mercy of the broadcasting quality as most content is not 4K for live footage. Also a decent fiber connection is a must for streaming. Especially simultaneous streaming on multiple devices. That being said, I upgraded to C2 for the screen size, going 77” from 65”. This fits into the space better and the viewing distance is now just right to get the 4K experience. Haven’t really explored WebOS on the TV as I use Apple TV. Overall, satisfied with purchase. For those who have not upgraded to OLED yet, time to try.

Best Tv out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best TV on the market. Went in for the LG OLED C1 and the sales rep told me they just got the C2 in and didn’t even hit the floor yet. He told me the C1 was the highest rated Tv and the C2 is just a brighter faster version of that. So I took his advice and I’m glad I did. The picture quality is AMAZING!!! won’t ever get anything but oled

FANTASTIC TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been waiting a while for TV prices to drop. It finally did and I decided to go with the LG C2 vs. the Samsung S95B. The Samsung maxed out at 65", but if they made a 77" unit, I would have probably gone that direction as the picture quality was better than the LG. Because of the size difference, it was a no brainer to go with LG. I am coming from a 12 year old 1080P 55" unit and this isn't even in the same ball park. The picture quality and clarity that I am now seeing is fantastic. I don't watch a lot of sports, so I can't really comment on that, but for movies and streaming, it's great. I went back and watched GOT The Long Night episode. I remember when this episode aired, a lot of people were complaining about how dark it was and how some scenes were unwatchable. Well, I had not issues watching the whole episode. The fire/flames looked so realistic like it was in my living room. The blacks was a true black and not a grayish black. I did not struggle at any scenes. Definitely recommend this unit. Did I also mention that this only weighs 60 lbs. with the stand on. I like that the stand was centered and not 2 legs on the side as my entertainment unit is only 56" long.

Excellent TV with very small issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before I begin the review, here is my setup with my TV: Sonos arc with subwoofer and 2 SL speakers - HDMI2 Nintendo Switch - HDMI4 Panasonic 4K Player - HDMI3 Direct TV Stream Box - HDMI1 Overall the TV is great. It replaced my Sony 77" A9G due to an accident. It is brighter than my previous set and the Web OS is just as good as Google TV on the Sony set. Its responsive and has everything i need. After calibrating, which you need to do, the picture quality is very good. Its not as good as Sony's processing for lower resolution content. I can tell this because I have Direct TV stream. On the Sony set, the picture was always clear unless there was a speed problem. On this one, there are times where I do notice that the processing wasn't that great. Outside of that issue, it shows images great on Netflix, Amazon, and HBO Max. I see it as an improvement over my previous set. I highly recommend it. The universal remote function works great. The remote can control all of my devices without an issue, except the streaming box. Its TV guide is not really connected to the box. I can get the real guide to display, but its a hassle and I rather use the native remote. I cannot comment on the sound directly from the TV. In my opinion, getting this set and using the TV speakers is kind of a waste of money. The reflection is annoying and was also a problem on my Sony set. This set handles it better because its brighter. My advice is to get rid of the light sources. There seems to be an issue with the set interacting with the streaming box. It would occasionally turn it off, which never happened on the Sony set. At other times, it would black out the screen for a couple of seconds before coming back on. This happens once with the switch, but never with my 4K player. One of the annoying thing is that the volume control through the eArc would not always show the volume number. When it does, it causes the streaming box to turn off or the screen would black out after a few minutes and then when it returns, it just the +/- showing on the volume.

Gorgeous TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG OLED C2 is an excellent TV for the price. The colors pop and the blacks are pitch black. The panel is brighter than the C1 and it shows in our light filled basement. The LG user interface could use some more work. It's a little to busy for me but works well with the magic remote. If you are in the market for an OLED TV, this is an excellent one to get!
