Very happy. Black levels are even better than my 2017 LG OLED, or Panasonic "Kuro." HDR gaming looks better than 2017 model which was often over saturated. Minor upgrades, all welcome. Best TV you can buy for a dark room/home theater. Get it calibrated by the Geek Squad! It makes a big difference! If you're spending this much money for this set it's insane to not get it calibrated. Love it.

I had a plasma for nearly 10 years, then in 2017 I bought a mid-high range quantum led (4k, hdr, etc) By all means the picture quality was amazing. It had two issues though - poor viewing angles and my worse complaint, dirty screen effect (noticeable grey bands during panning movements, seen all the time in sports and video games). Drove me nuts. So between that and hdmi 2.1 coming out...... i started searching for a new tv. As a gamer, I did my research comparing this tv to the best led due to concern over burn in. While threat does exist, simply being slightly cautious will prevent any burn in.
This tv is amazing. If you have a reg 1080p tv or low end 4k tv, this tv will blow you away. If you have a high end led, this tv will still impress but now you're talking trade offs. Oled def does not get as bright as led. For me, its perfectly fine, but did take some settings tweaking to pump up brightness. My led could be blinding sometimes. But oled has amazing uniformity, no dirty screen, the best contrast and blacks, and everything I watch simply looks better then it did on led. As a gamer, im very happy, albeit slightly worried about vrr.
I married into a professional photography family who know their stuff about lighting, color, contrast etc. And for what it's worth, they all love oled more then me.

I have never been so happy with a TV purchase. This LG CX series is in opinion absolutely blew me away on the richness of color and its HDR capabilities, the options it offers and the ease of use. When I do have a chance to watch it during the day I'm in a pretty bright room and I have no issue seeing the screen at all as some would say that OLEDs arent great in bright rooms. At night, in fact (maybe because of the size) is to bright and have made adjustments to lowering the brightness but keeping the OLED light at max.
I primarily use this TV for gaming (Series X and PS5) and movies - I have now played games for hours on end way above 6 hours in a day and no signs of image retention. In fact my first OLED from LG had less image retention options then the CX and never had even a dead pixel nevermind any I-retention. So i wouldnt shy a way from OLEDs in fear of that happening especially if you're not going to do a lot of gaming on it.
Also would like to add that this TV's option for ATMOS does a good job. A couple times I didnt even realize that my receiver wasnt on. So anyone not wanting a sound bar or a HT setup will still be in shape.
I now have owned this TV for over 4 months and still sit in front of it like it was day 1.

One screen to rule them all.

This is the TV all other TVs aspire to be. Picture quality is unbelievable.
Downsides, when watching a low res movie or video it really looks low resolution, especially on a huge 77 in screen. But play 4K HDR and prepare to have your mind blown.
Another rough spot is trying to justify over $3K when its possible to find a 55 or even bigger for under $500. Zero buyers remorse though. Highly recommend to anyone on the fence with OLED.

Open Box Value of the Century!

First off, this has been a dream purchase of mine for years, but I couldn't justify the cost, but ... that changed when I finally bit the bullet. Here is my story, I bought as an open box item, that had only been on the floor for about 5 days due to a box issue. I confirmed that it only had 134 hours of "on-time" and proceeded to buy it over the Memorial day sale which gave an additional 15% off. Making the final price right t $2,200. This was a no-brainer. The in-store LG consultant was very helpful in pointing this unit out to me.
As for usage so far, it is awesome. Darks are completely black, and while not as bright as something like a Samsung Q90T, it makes up for it in styling as well as color reproduction.
I also have hooked up an Xbox Series X to it, and all I can say is that, even if you are a novice gamer, you will notice the 4K at a higher refresh rate. Maybe not a full 120hz, since many games can't hit that level, but the variable refresh rate is a very nice addition.

This TV is work every penny of its price. This TV has the best picture on the market. The 77 inch screen adds to its wow factor. This TV is more computer than TV. It has four HDMI inputs and built in TV antenna. The remote control is more like a magic wand and it performs with bth with hand and voice commands. Last many of the streaming apps (Disney+, Apple TV, HULU) are integrated into the TVs software for smooth operation. I recommend having a LAN connection to use all of the features that this TV can off. Last, it can integrate into your home automation and it can smoothly run, alarms, home lighting, and other home automation. I am totally blown away with the picture and capability of this 4K TV.

This is not my first UHDTV but it’s my first OLED. It has the clearest, cleanest and most beautiful picture I’ve ever seen on any TV I’ve ever seen! The black is the deepest black I’ve ever seen. The 4K picture is flawless and the response time with gaming is insane! I’m very impressed with the LG CXPUA and highly recommend it for 4K blue rays AND 4K gaming. There are tons of settings to tweak to make it a truly personal experience for you! There is even a pixel refresher app built in which comes in handy for any pesky burn in you might get. If I was going even going to mention anything that could be improved it would be the internal speakers but not for the reasons you may think. It is Dolby Atmos ready through the internal speakers but IMHO, it could use a boost in wattage, but that’s just me. Don’t skimp and get yourself a nice 7.1 Dolby Atmos sound bar with a 10” sub woofer to go with this TV. It would be the icing on this UHDTV cake! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed with this TV!

Pros:
-Awesome Picture
-Huge list of apps
-Some free channels with LG TV
-Easy setup
Cons:
-Wish it was easier to disable default to static (for streaming only folks), it's doable, but have to dig through the settings and change multiple things.
-Sound Quality, It's definitely still usable, but if you're spending this much on a TV you're doing yourself a disservice using the TV speakers.
My experience:
I love this TV, it has 4 HDMI Ports, 1 of which is eARC compatible (HDMI2). It is MASSIVE, the video is gorgeous, the blacks definitely make a huge difference. I've never had an OLED or a TV larger than 55" or a TV that can display 4k. I think I broke TV for me and need to watch everything.
Would go into more detail, but that means less time worshipping the glorious wall art.
TL;DR:
Productivity has stopped, this was extravagant, I love it.

Such a stunning picture. The price for OLED was 100% worth it. The contrast in dark scenes really is unbelievable. We mostly use our TV for movies and sports, and both have been greatly enhanced by this TV.
webOS interface from LG is way better than the Samsung equivalent (our other TV is a Samsung Frame).
Sound is just OK, but we used our Best Buy points from this purchased and bought the LG Atmos soundbar as well. A picture this good deserves upgraded sound, IMO!
One tip: when we first got the TV, we were concerned because we could see faintly pixelated lines on the sides. But we did a pixel refresh and it disappeared. This is recommended as routine maintenance on all OLED TVs, evidently.

Great, lower cost alternative to the c1 or c2. Has essentially the same panel, uniformity and brightness of the latters. I am able to get 136hz on this panel in windows, by changing the color depth to 8 bit, leaving hdr on and disabling gpu scaling. 16hz might no seem like much, but with VRR on, it does make a difference (if you have the gpu to put out that kind of frame rate however). Picked it up, open box excellent and I must admit, this OLED TV leaves little to be desired. Blacks are inky and colors are perfectly saturated, speaker kinda suck, but I have an atmos soundbar to compensate for that. I would highly recommend as I save over $2k versus the c1/c2 at 77 inches. My peaks are near 1500 nit, but then again, I'm really pushing this panel.

You can't ask for much better picture quality. I had a Vizio P-Series (2016) and this thing blows it out of the water. While it does not get as bright as my Vizio, it's definitely not something that effects your viewing experience. Personally, I don't like my TV's or HDR scenes insanely bright and you won't notice the difference at all here. This TV delivers perfect blacks and unparalleled contrast. If you're debating between the 65 and the 77 and can afford it, go with the bigger 77. You will not be disappointed. And on top of that, this thing is future proof. The TV operating system is significantly better and runs smoother than Vizio's, and navigating menus is seamless. Buy this TV, you will not regret it in the slightest.

The black levels make this one of the best movie viewing experiences out there, HDR performance in a dark room is great, although peak brightness is capped off if a highlight takes up more than 50% of the screen. The interface is easy to use and super responsive, Overall amazing TV, but keep in mind that in a very bright room it may not be the best choice I have closed blinds right behind my viewing place and during the day I see the horizontal reflections 70% of the time, the screen is glossy but it does cut out some reflections the glare is not blown out but concentrated and slightly dimmed without flaring much.

Honestly, I am absolutely blown away by this TV. The picture quality on streamed 4K content (which is all I've had the opportunity to view at this point) is beyond phenomenal! The built in app suite for apps such as YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc all work really well, especially the YouTube app. Playing on my PS4 Pro is a wonderful experience as well.
What I am really waiting for is the opportunity to build a new gaming PC and hook that up to this bad boy to take advantage of the 4K - 120hz - and Variable Refresh Rate tech on this TV. Depending on my experience with that I may change my review, because I know there have been a number of issues people are experiencing with this TV & PC Gaming.
In conclusion though, this TV was worth every penny. the OLED tech is not a gimmick, and being able to see true black on such a huge screen is a treat!

Replaced a 13 years old problematic 67" DLP projection TV with the 77" LG CX. Before buying the LG CX, I went back and forth between buying a new 2021 Neo QLED or an LG 2021 C1 OLED TV. Best Buy put the 2020 model LG CX on sale at a good price, so I decided to buy it. All I can say about this TV is... WOW! I'm glad I decided to go with the LG CX OLED. So far my wife and I are very pleased with our new TV. It has a great picture with inky blacks, excellent color, and detail. The CX handles reflections in our room very well, even though the screen is glossy. The brightness of the OLED panel is excellent. I am not too concerned about image retention (burn-in) as we seldom watch programming with static logos or banners. Hopefully, the LG CX will give us many years of service like our old DLP TV.

This is my 4trh OLED tv. Started with a 1080P 55 inch 6 years ago. I finally got the 65 inch a 3 years ago and then last year go the 77 inch upgrade for the bedroom. I also purchased 83 inch for living room for now until the 97 inch is available. These things are bulletproof. They last forever have 0 burn in issues and I leave them on all day and night. Every single one is as good as the day I bought it. Now the only drawback I see is less overall brightness than QLED but since I have great light control it is a non issue for me. The old 65 inch it replaced is now the dogs TV in their room. They watch cartoons all day on it. Again 0 issues with any of them! I won't buy anything else.

I had recently purchased this model: LG - 77" Class A1 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. But I had an issue with it so I returned it and bought this one instead. The only real difference between the two was the A1 had a refresh rate of 60hz. This CX model has a refresh rate of 120hz. The 60hz was highly recommended but it had an issue of shadows following motion. Hard to explain. It was weird and very noticeable at certain times. But this one has not had that issue! So I have to assume it's the refresh rate. All the recommendations were wrong. (But I was in Costco one day and saw a Samsung QLED model. Wow! I think QLED is the way to go! Very nice picture. SO REAL! lol, so don't get the LG, buy the SAMSUNG Model! :(

The best television I've ever had. The black levels you see on this TV is simply mesmerizing and 4K truly looks lifelike. It's quite expensive, but you are essentially purchasing the best near 75" TV money can buy. I'm truly blown away and seeing OLED in person reminds me of the first time I saw a Pioneer Kuro. All inputs support 4K 120Hz so they're perfect for the PS5 and Series X. Check out RTings for a very in depth review if you need confirmation for why this is the best TV around.
Definitely need two people to life and assemble the TV so keep that in mind and it's heavier than I thought it would be.
Biggest thing I hated about this TV is that the stand doesn't really keep the TV very high. I have a Sonos Arc and I needed to buy a 2" thick wooden board to prop up the TV so the bottom isn't cut off by the soundbar.

I should have bought this thing a long time ago. Kept it in my cart forever and finally pushed the button. Haven’t regretted it for a single second. So many great features no other tv has. Oled is super impressive. Not too dim. Reflection not an issue imo. Burn in not an issue imo. Watch youtube videos about it if you are on the fence. Movies, apps, video games all look way better. Cant say enough good things about it. Also they take reviews seriously and make updates to the firmware when people bring things to their attention. Samsung broke my heart with my last tv having intermittent black screen issues so im On the LG bandwagon. Keep up the good work. Also Best Buy delivered during the time window and was very polite. Left the tv just inside the door and me and my buddy hung the tv in no time.

Hands down, this is the best TV you can buy for sports, video games, and movies, and anything. The picture makes old content pop and new 4K content look amazing. Anyone who watches this instantly sees the image quality of OLED is superior to anything else.
This is my 3rd LG OLED and all of them are perfect. Use an online site to configure the picture settings and get all of the extra processing junk that you don’t need turned off or it may actually cause image judder/blur. Once set properly, everything looks smooth without any artifacts or blur you would get from LCD.
Lastly, this TV has the specs capable of supporting 4K@120Hz HDMI 2.1 specification that the new Xbox Series X and PS5 can output. Older generation TVs will not be able to take advantage of the higher refresh rate benefits of the new systems.
