My wife and I have never cared too much about being receiver/speaker/tv fancy. But I bought a really good receiver Pioneer Elite SC-LX904 11.2 (fully powered) and a new Xbox One X and a full set of 4 9080(atmos Fully Large) Definitive Tech speakers, 2 klipsch reference Subs and DT 9080 center. So I wanted a TV to go with it. We are empty nesters and watch loads of movies and Disney/Hulu/Netflix/Prime Video/YouTube and we game on Xbox/WiiU/Switch. I struggled being a complete noob in Audio and Video. I look at TVs and reviews until my eyes bled. I went back and forth Samsung versus LG, 2019 versus 2020. Save money or invest. Finally I said time to go see them. Bestbuy finally allowed people to go in with an appointment. I went in with my wife. We saw the 77 inch 2019 LG C9, the 86 LG 2019 Nano, the 2020 65 inch LG Oled G and C models. Also looked at Samsung 2020 Q90T and other 8K Samsung at TVs. To us Hands down the 65 inch LG GSX 2020 Oled was the best. We had to Order the 77 and got it installed by Bestbuy 2 days later. Immediately we realized not only how amazing the picture etc is. BUT we started testing out using the eArc (hdmi 2) to my eArc receiver with the TV apps for Hulu/Disney/Netflix/Prime. LoL. we love it. Immediately I stopped using the Xbox one to stream. Some TV settings thoughts. Make sure to turn on eArc. Make sure to use Auto or Pass through audio. My receiver needed to use AV /Auto Direct. From there I could then select Dolby Atmos on my receiver. Love it. We then cycled through different surround sounds to test depending on the app/stream and input of the stream. Anyhoo. Yes we spent around 20k total for everything and the only thing I wish and cant wait for is the bigger LG Oled in my theater room. BTW we bought the 5 year warrant through bestbuy and feel its worth it. You wont regret this TV and the smart features. Oh and we love the magic remote. I wanna see if we can use 2 so wife and ai both have one.

The LG-77 Class GX OLED 4K UHD Smart TV is just outstanding! The sharpness of the picture and the thinness of the TV itself makes it the best TV we have ever purchased. Best Buy's sales folks were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all my questions during the shopping and selection process. Prices were very competitive as well. We used the Geek Squad, via Total Tech Support membership, to deliver and install...All-in-all a great purchased, with beautiful installation and very happy with the TV, Best Buy and Geek Squad...a winning team all around.

I have had several large screen tv's over many years. My last TV model was a 65" curved TV and mind you it still a great picture, this blow anything I have ever had. The picture is very vibrant and we paired it with the LG SN 11RG sound bar. The price point is most definitely at the top of the tier. We also considered the Nano cell which is close, but to me, not as a vibrant, but could save you a $1000 or more depending on the model and size. This time, I did NOT settle and man, I am glad I didn't. I was not sure the 77" model was going to be big enough, but I was wrong. One minor word of warning, it has a really large footprint and a TV stand is NOT included but you can purchase a stand for it separately, however, it is an 89.9 lb TV make sure you tether it and have a really wide piece of furniture as the legs sit right the edge of the TV.

High quality glass screen. Picture is phenomenal out of the box. Very low profile. Processor is fast, no lag like my previous smart TV. I have it in a large room with tons of natural light and it performs very well in daytime - have not had to adjust brightness/contrast. It really does look like a picture frame when certain screensavers/images are put on the screen. This 77" has gotten a lot of positive comments. Only negative was it is very difficult to mount. Unless you are very experienced I would recommend professional installation.

I was hesitant to buy OLED TV because of burn-in problem. I took a risk because of the amazing quality. It is a beautiful TV and very easy to use remote. Once I've started watching OLED, it is impossible to watch other TVs. I've Samsung QLED. Nothing compares to OLED. I've Sonos home theater system- Arc, Sub and two sonos SLs as back surround speakers.. Amazing experience when we watch movies and better than a movie theater experience.

Best TV i have ever bought, just purchased a new home and i was waiting for th G1. I couldnt wait any longer so i settled for this model. Cant complain as the G1 is still unavailable and i saved myself about $1500. Ill wait till the g1 price drop, and will put this in our loft sometime next year. Installation was hard though

This TV hits all your boxes if your looking for big, clear and sharp, fast, 120hz gaming, and plenty of inputs for all your entertainment needs. I thought I would be using my google hub or Roku on this but I am not as the built in apps run perfect out of the box. Only thing we have is Xbox and a tv antenna hooked up. Love this tv!!

Crisp everything. Feels like I’m THERE. With the soundbar?! Cant be beat. The TV is soooooo oh soooo slim sitting almost flush on the wall. It’s sleek it grabs your eye and gosh did I mention HUGE? I’ve always been a Samsung typa girl but this LG blew my mind in the store and takes me to outer space in my living room.

I LOVE THIS TV! Its pretty heavy though. Almost 90 lbs. The sound needs some help so will purchase a SONOS soundbar soon. Overall pic quality is fantastic. Doesn't come with a stand (sold separately) but it was supposed to come with my purchase for free and of course when i purchased my LG GX 77, Best Buy tells me the stand is out of stock....ugh! LG, please send me my free stand. Bright enoigh for the basement, one tiny window behind viewing area but i have a blackout curtain so no biggie. It is an amazing tv, was waiting to compare the Sony A80J , but of course it comes out AFTER I purchased my LG. I hate returning stuff and this tv is heavy. Again, you cant go wrong with this tv, fantastic with games on my XBOX SERIES X. So smooth, no lag. Clear and crisp as can be! The only thing why i chose this over sony despite Sony having a bettrr, more natural color and better sound is the fact that ALL hdmi inputs are 2.1, Sony has only 2, and supposedly, VRR is coming on a future update, yeah, (like the update on the X900H), That was a fiasco! Anyhoo, great tv for movies and more for gaming.. Excellent Tv overall.

Excellent TV. I bought the 77” GX and the mounting bracket is awesome. Sits flush to the wall. Image quality is phenomenal. I’m so glad I didn’t purchase the Samsung Q90T... it would have been huge on my wall. The LG remote works great and I have had any issues with this tv. It’s super bright too! Love the colors and the blacks.

Excellent display with great features. Built in speakers sound nice with Dolby Atmos, i still use bose soundbar system. But the TV has different sound output options which is never talked about. You can use internal Speaker + Bluetooth speakerbfor surround sound. You can use Optical (connected to soundbar) + Internal TV speakers together. You can use HDMI with earc support. Dolby Atmos can be enabled only with internal tv speakers. Has lot more on video options, Filmmaker mode and HDR which i often use. Its great for wall mount you can keep it flushed against the wall, i have used a wooden board on my wall for this wall mount as to get 2 studs support. This has a floating effect which looks great with led strip behind the tv. Also the art gallery on tv has many themes to choose.

Fantastic picture and ease of use. Makes you feel like whoever is on screen is in the room with you. Gallery mount is very impressive, even against a brick wall. Magic wand remote is also very simple and intuitive.

The TV is just awesome. It’s my second OLED from LG. The 77 inch screen is immersive and the colors on the screen are vibrant. The jump from 65 inches to 77 is definitely worth it if you have the funds. It is a different experience for sure.

Extremly impress with this TV. Its slim and picture is awesome. Really happy with this purchase. Xbox series X and Playstation 5 look and play amazing on it. Geek Squad did a excellent job installing it.

so large that you feel that you right in movies or audience. great clear picture, and the remote is easier than in the older models, easy to adjust and love the blue tooth feature. the free set up and wall hangin by Geek was a bonus!

Wow, this TV is amazing. The picture quality is phenomenal. The laser thin bezel makes it feel even bigger than the huge 77 inches. Typically, I like to watch on vivid setting, but this TV will actually figure out what type of program I’m watching and switch to the best visuals for that style. For example, it gets darker for movie mode and brighter for sports. I will warn you that the install is a little harder than usual because it absolutely sits flat with the wall. You want to make sure you plug everything in to the tv before you hang it because there isn’t much room to move around behind it once it is hung. You defiantly need two to three people too. LG’s smart system is so easy to deal with too. It’s quite simple to find your Disney + or Netflix and to switch between them.

The picture on this TV is amazing! The blacks are really black without any artifacts or pixelation. We're currently rewatching some of our favorite movies and loving the fact we can see details in the dark scenes.

This item replaced our 13-year old Samsung. Wow, what a difference. Slim design looks great mounted flush to the wall. The picture quality is excellent. We bought a Logitech MK270 keyboard and mouse to make using the web browser easier.
