So happy to be back! I went from a 65” LG B7 OLED which I purchased in 2017 to a 100” Hisense U8K Mini LED in 2024. 11 months later I went switch back to an 83” LG C4 OLED. While the Hisense is a great tv, super immersive and solid black levels. I couldn’t get past the blooming around subtitles and overly crushed shadows. OLED is the way to go!

Have to say I am really impressed with the picture quality and the brightness is significantly better than what I thought it would be. The lack of blooming is more impactful than expected. Appreciate the connectivity options on the TV (like 4xhdmi 2.1). My child has some special needs and the Web OS was presenting some challenges so we added a Google Streamer and that helped out (LG voice command has limited functionality). My biggest issue with the TV is the reflection. Sometimes it is almost like a mirror so avoid any direct light sources if possible. For awareness I think the VESA mount sits a bit lower than most TVs, so it may sit higher than expected on a pre existing wall mount. Lastly, the faux marble finish on the back is a nice touch.

Biggest OLED I have purchased so far and best price for small home theater. Picture quality does not degrade from moving off center of picture like LED/LCD. PC Gaming at 120hz/fps is incredible as colors really pop on this without using Game Optimizer with 144hz support. Some prefer it, I don't. I like the bright colors in my personal settings when gaming at 120hz/fps. In Nvidia Control change the resolution at the bottom to PC-3840x2160. Set color to YCbCr444, 10 bit. Games never looked so good. Movies have better HDR using Dolby Vision, unlike competitors that don't use it. That is a big upside with Dolby Vision support on LG. Make sure you have 4K content to play back on i.e., 4K Ultra Blu-ray, Apple 4K and the like. Sound: If you are buying this TV, you should already have an AV receiver or decent sound bar. Mine is hooked to a Marantz Cinema 50 with Amp for Martin Logan F1 LCR, Motion 2 side and back surrounds with Atmos speakers on top of F1's. I do not regret getting one of the 98"+ TV's after seeing off angle viewing. (Tons of research and actually viewing of said competition.) There really is nothing better than OLED PQ wise in my humble opinion.

The LG OLED C4 4K TV, is just stunning! We got this tv about a month ago and we love the life like picture. Feels as you are right there live watching the shows. The picture is a true 83 inch, the cabinet is very thin and light. We easily self wall mounted the TV. We love how the remote is designed and simple. We definitely recommend this TV.

The picture quality is outstanding with vibrant colors. The design is sleek and modern and it looks great mounted on the wall. It has been a fantastic investment if you care about picture quality and performance highly recommended.

Oled is the best ever so worth every penny. I couldn’t be more pleased. The picture quality refresh rate seamless framing are just the tip of the iceberg. The added apps like Xbox lg content and everything in between are just top notch.the sound is the only down side. But with an added sound bar it’s amazing

Absolutely outstanding TV coming from a 65" Samsung LED tv. Using the Rtings.com settings to adjust the colors to "real" settings makes movie watching exceptional. At first we thought it was too big, but that feeling only lasting about 2 days and now we are both super happy to have gotten the larger 83" over the 77" as we sit around 13' away from the tv. Getting a flat wall mount that doesn't extend or have anything extra to it was a game changer as well as it sits very close to our wall. It never makes sense to me to buy the latest and greatest tech since a new one is just 9 months away usually, so picking up this LG 83" OLED TV brand new for $3000 was totally worth it. Have it hooked up to a nVidia Shield Pro and a Ugoos for the Dolby Vision, which absolutely changes home cinema. No idea about the sound as we have a home theater system. Wroth the price 100%

Love it!!! Love how it display the images on tv. The colors are vivid. 100% over the top clarity!! Highly recommend!!!!

After originally having a mini LED and always trying to tweek the settings so that the grey scale and colors look the best, with my LG OLED, grey scale is perfect and so are the colors. Also, the C4 is bright enough so that the brightness of a mini LED is not a factor anymore.

So far I’m very happy with my purchase. I pulled the trigger on this 83 inch LG C4 when they were running sales to make room for the 2025 inventory. I’m sure the C5 will be amazing but I took advantage of the C4 being on sale and in my price range. Simply one of if not the best tvs you could ever own. OLED is the way whether you’re just a casual tv watcher, movie goer or a gamer, you won’t find a prettier picture.

Best TV! got the 83 in for a great price has so many features and settings to adjust to get the perfect picture to sit back and relax and the get the best tv experience out there.

Amazing color! Picture is clear and a huge improvement over my previous 70 inch TV. It like being at a theater.

I upgraded from a led 55inch lg, which i still have and used for 12+years . But this is by far the best purchase I've made on a tv. So clear and able to watch dark scenes! Doesn't lag on programs. Lg has done it again for me .

This is my 3rd LG OLED (65 B6, 77 C2) and they keep getting better as I go bigger. This model is even brighter than the last one, and I finally didn't have to use the service menu to defeat any intrusive auto dimming thanks to the far less aggressive implementation.

Great TV and picture. Looks great above the mantle. Love the remote control, too. The picture is very bright. Getting a Sonos soundbar today to improve the sound quality.

Amazing television! Got the 83" and nothing compares.

It was between this and the Samsung. I’m so grateful that I went for this. It blows you out of the room.

Great features and i now use this over my 85 Samsung QLED. Lots to learn and research.
