Wow what a difference a tv makes watched it all day

Great tv however i wanted to get insurance but salesman pushed TotalTech which now i hear is not better on repair services. From now on just get the protection plan.

Excellent upgrade, install was flawless and my rep sold us the best tv for our entertainment room.

This is the best tv we ever had Oled is one of my wish list and best buy give me the chance to buy. Thanks Best Buy

Product (LG): Picture and look of the TV are both excellent. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because my unit will power on and immediately off when it has been off for a while. After hitting the power button again it will turn on and stay on. Obviously not the way any TV should function especially one this expensive. I know for a fact this problem is a known issue that LG is aware of and working on. None the less, disappointing for a set that’s only a few months old. I contacted LG support and they were unable to solve remotely so they set up a service appointment where I believe the main board and power supply will be replaced. Currently awaiting the parts and repair. If this does solve the problem, I’m still a little uneasy about it having to be repaired this soon The included mount doesn’t offer much wiggle room but it works. If your studs are slightly farther apart than standard you may have to get creative. Install (Best Buy): With the TV being so large I thought it best to have it professionally mounted so set up an appointment with Best Buy to do so. The techs that came out were nice and professional but immediately tried to sell me on a tilting mount and, even after I mentioned one of the main features of this gallery TV is to be flush mounted, continued to push it. Eventually they said the included mount wouldn’t work with my stud placement (standard distance in a 2019 build) and couldn’t complete the job. I asked them to leave the TV behind and was able to install it perfectly fine with my lovely wife’s help lifting it onto the mount. It’s big and awkward so that was by far the hardest part.

I read reviews and studied TVs for over a year and finally decided to buy this BEAST of a tv. This is my first oled and I LOVE it. It’s very bright for an OLED tv and it has a lot of picture quality settings to play with so that you can fine tune it to look perfect for you. I have it linked with a full SONOS surround sound setup and couldn’t be more happy. Older movies don’t look great on it because it shows the imperfections of the older film technology but it’s still great. Watching new 4K movies filmed with DolbyVision technology is BREATHTAKING. Anybody that comes over and sees it is blown away by it! HECK of a TV and worth every penny!

This TV matches our expectations of beautiful! We were a bit worried the 83 inch model would be too big but it is no way too big. It is stunning! Best Buy did an excellent job mounting it to a universal wall bracket. Took a bit of work but they hooked up everything we wanted. Kiddos!

Bright. Deep blacks. Great quality. Some default picture settings and automatic picture adjustments need work but with research on internet it can be optimized nicely.

I currently have the G1 in 77 inch so i decided to get G2 in 83 inch for my other room. Yes, i notice brightness and detail difference over last years model. Fantastic OLED and i am a Sony fan. Pros:prob the best picture quality on hdr images even crappy cable looks good. Build quality is great not cheap. Cons: Price obviously. slight banding but pixel refresher fixed that. I intinally had the Sony z9j 85 inch and was very dissapointed. Oled is the way i cant go back to LED mini Led LCD. The only thing i hate about oled is black crush from dark scene content.

This TV is likely a 5 star tv. It is the one I wanted. Unfortunately it is a bear to install and plans need to be made well in advance to get a flush fit. Mine was in a tile wall and it was going to a major effort to install. I ended up returning it and purchased. Samsung Frame. Samsung has a proprietary single cable that is the power and hdmi. This brick goes in your equipment closet. The picture quality is not OLED quality but super slick flush mount. LG can have this and likely even more flush but you will need to cut into your wall and can’t have anything in the way. Do NOT purchase this tv online with a Geek Squad installation. While they are likely capable, the phone agents do not know answers. Multiple phone calls and I never could get an answer. If you want a quality flush mount, DO NOT purchase online GO TO THE STORE and inquire.

I am a big LG OLED fan since the C2. This one is even better and the gallery design looks amazing on my wall. Amazing blacks and the overall brightness has improved.

A really wonderful addition to our home. Easily set up. So far video quality is excellent. PS 5 looks amazing on it. The cable management is tricky. No issue with brightness on the contents so far.

I ordered this TV online when I went into the I ordered this TV online when I went into the Best Buy store that I talked with were immediately impressed as this is a top-of-the-line TV. The tech suggested I buy the Sonos sound bar so I purchased it at the same time. I am a total tech member. So the geek squad came out and installed did a Wall mount. This is a very large TV 83 inches it took up a good portion of my wall. The only thing I would say is the mount that comes with the TV is not adequate for this TV so plan on spending extra for a quality mount so the TV does not come off the wall. Also make sure that your door can’t possibly open into. It would highly recommend this TV.

I’ve been waiting for this TV to go on sale. It finally did, and I made the purchase. I could not be happier. The TV is so crisp and the colors are so in-depth. It has some cool features where you can use voice to change the channel or open up apps. One downfall is that the voice sensor is a little too sensitive. You can put it into a mode where you can say “hi LG“ and it will turn the TV on. But the problem with that is that it tends to turn on randomly, even if you are not in the room as it picks up voices in the background. Aside from that little downfall, I think the TV is fantastic.

Picture quality is phenomenal. It does take a few seconds to come on, and every so often it can’t find sound bar, but those are minor. Great TV.

I really like this television. I was looking for a replacement for another 85”, and without question, this unit is far superior. The price is steep.

Absolutely the best TV I’ve ever owned! I’ve read and watched many reviews of the Samsung S95B and the current king, the Sony A95K however my choice with getting the G2 was mainly size and picture quality. While those other choices were judged by experts, I’m just a normal person that doesn’t use “filmmaker mode” and my home can be either bright or dark. The differences that I saw personally was very minimal if at all. Ultimately I’ve never been more satisfied with the purchase of my 83” LG G2 and I hope others get to experience it as well.
