The G3 is great. The picture quality, size, and cosmetics are all great. I have no regrets from this purchase and no thoughts of returning. However, if I was making my decision now. I might elect to purchase the Samsung Q90 series LCD as the better value.

This TV has been excellent. There are updates that adjust different elements of the TV which always seem to improve some aspect. The sound is pretty good for a TV hung on a wall. We are using it without any additional soundbar or attachment to an amp. The picture quality with sports seems to be a slight downgrade from my smaller TVs, but I have not determined why that might be. With movies it is crystal clear. When I watch live hockey games it is big easy to follow the puck, but the clarity on jerseys seems a slight downgrade. However, the size of the picture allows easy flow of the game and as I said easy to follow the puck. Overall I have really liked the TV and may be buying another one for a different room.

Went from an unrepairable Samsung QN-95B to this. This is my first OLED. I keep up with tech and had some expectations prior to purchasing. The loss of brightness is unfortunate and I knew this was not an MLA panel. Other than the brightness loss from going from the Samsung to this I do not regret my decision to buy this TV. It has been great for movie watching, TV watching, and gaming. I enjoy the interface and picture much more than Samsungs. My Samsung sound bar works great with the TV. Really been a pretty easy TV to setup and use day to day.

So there’s a lot of hype about the 83 inch not having the new micro lens technology so not worth getting. Wrong. This is a superlative Oled tv. Thin, light, well built and effortlessly superb picture. Bright. Easy to watch and adjust. Best Buy threw in a LG pedestal stand. So if you are on the fence about the 83 inch, don’t worry, it’s an outstanding tv. Highly recommended.

Outstanding picture, really makes the room stand out. I love LG products but this TV is amazing. You will never go to a theater again! We placed this TV on the wall (amazing how good it looks up there) to create a TV area in our great room, it looks great from every angle! Quality stuff

Oled images are by far the best in the industry. The TV is great. Way smarter than you may think. Perfect for gaming. The Gs are amazing, are they worth it? Yes. But it always depends on what you are looking for. Dont be naive and over expend, you can get a perfect TV between the Bs & Cs. Understand what you need, and whats your budget.

I am coming from a Lg 65 inch C8. This tv may be the best I have ever owned. They say I should have bought the 77 inch model because It has MLA. Forget that, this tv is so bright compared to what I had I had to tone it down. Plus the size is like almost being at the show. Thanks BestBuy for selling me a gem.

This 83 INCH LG g3 OLED is truly fantastic tv. We are coming from an old plasma tv. All the colors, light and how it handle reflection is amazing. I thought the 77 inch model would be enough but after seeing them side by side in store this big tv is just incredible. Now it looks like we have mini Cinema in the house.

Even with the LG 83” panel not having MLA, i feel it stillgets really bright. I have to turn the brightness down because of some scenes hurting my eyes. The color and clarity are wonderful. The size is so immersive, makes me feel im in a movie theatre. Im very happy with this purchase.

We have been very pleased with the G3. Brilliant sharp picture. Perfect for viewing 4K especially sports broadcasts. The wall mount included with the TV provides a minimal behind the screen exposure.

    Sony vs LG

Just replaced my Sony OLED because of a lightning strike. Same size, both OLED. Sorry but Sony wins. Picture is great on both but the Sony color is a bit better and the menus are set up better. Don’t even use the “vivid” setting in the LG - waaay too much everything. So it forces you to set the video setting yourself - tricky. Amazing picture for sure but it is a little much.

Great picture awesome colors just wish the mla panel was on the 83 also but it only goes to 77. Easy install and looks great on my wall. Clean clear image you have to play with the picture settings to get the best result just ok out of the box.

Awesome Tv! Pricy but what isn’t anymore! You get what you pay for. The picture is wonderful and software is good sound system failed to sync up to my Samsung home theater system and was forced to return the Samsung for a LG system to be able to communicate it with the LG TV. It is my understanding that the LG soundbars though less expensive are not as good as other systems on the market. It has not arrived so that is yet to be done by myself. Hopefully, I will be as happy with the LG soundbar as I am with the LG G3 oled TV!!!!Fingers crossed!

Yes this TV alone is amazing, but once you consider the software, this is a $5000 hunk of absolute GARBAGE. The UI is clunky, annoying, and not intuitive at all. But you can learn your way around. There are plenty of quality of life settings you get on Samsung and Sony TVs that are just inexplicably missing here. Chromecast is always hit or miss. Built in apps crash very often. And on top of that, LG tries to put ADS EVERYWHERE! Even after you paid an arm and a leg for this TV. And i don't buy the "oh we can fix it with software updates" line. They won't. They have your money already. What it boils down to is LG is just a complete scum company. But thankfully now we also have Samsung back in the OLED game alongside Sony (maybe Vizio too? Who knows). Don't pick LG. It's a bad decision
