This is the biggest TV I own, and for a screen this large, I would not have guessed how fantastic this TV really is. Let us get straight to the point. Picture quality is marvelous; clear picture with the screen size almost makes you feel like you are there! I sit a tad bit close so the experience is surreal. I have watched previous basketball games on the TV so the picture motion and transition is unbelievably smooth. The sound is superb, being that there is no sound bar attached but it will get it as all my TVs do. Extremely easy to set the viewing options as far as cinema, cinema home, standard, etc. I also enjoy the fact that when I hook up my PS4 that it automatically switches to the game mode viewing so I can received the best quality and gaming experience they offer. I viewed the TV from different angles and saw there were no fading or blurring of the TV from the sides, same angle all around which is a plus when entertaining a crowd. The remote is like a wireless mouse; better yet a magic wand, which I think, is cool for children to navigate through TV menus and other such applications. In addition, if times get tough, they can always just speak into the mouse, say "Netflix Garfield" and boom, you have Garfield on Netflix. The TV comes with four HDMI ports and two USB ports for excessive hook ups like sound bars, gaming consoles, laptops, and more. Unfortunately, I do not own any Apple products, but the TV has built in Airplay, which allows you to stream apple content directly to the TV from the iPad and iPhone. Flawless TV from LG, this is necessary to have for anyone who loves to entertain, watch movies, or just to have period, you can never have a TV too big!

Tv is awful compared to Samsung q60R which is supposed to be much better than the Q60R. Horrible blooming and hd is blurry. 4K content is great but everything else is blurry. Returning.

Specifically asked the sales rep, Joey, who helped me to pick a tv which tv he felt was best. He advised us that he was an LG advocate and he still thought it was the best tv despite being the advocate. I explained to him that I had AT&T TV and if the app could be downloaded on the LG TV. Literally said yes to everything I asked and turns out I could not download the AT&T TV app on LG because it is not available on any LG TV. Very unhappy with the tv and I wish I hadn't paid for the delivery and installation if not I would have returned the tv

LG has either fault panel or shipping box design but LG refused to honor the warranty. Original order arrived with minor box damage; TV itself looked fine until plugged in and showing lots of blank pixel lines. Best Buy shipped a replacement which worked for a few months before showing the exact same problem. I'll never buy LG again.

Came cracked TWICE!!! Unbelievable that the same tv would come cracked twice. I waited a month in total for the delivery and install twice and ultimately decided to downsize but upgrade and go with an OLED bc I couldn’t keep waiting!

I was very disappointed with picture of this TV. This was my first LG TV and my last. Significant blooming on dark screens. Blacks more grey than black. Calibration out of the box is poor. Spent hours tweaking. Refresh rate is not good enough for a screen this large. I had the TV for a week and returned to the store. Currently researching other brands for a replacement.

Picture quality is not as sharp for the price that I paid. Pretty dull I would not recommend.

The 86" LG 4K TV is basically your own personal movie theater. The picture quality is simply amazing especially in this size TV. The color saturation is brilliant and accurate. With TruMotion 240 refresh rate, you don't see any blur with fast moving scenery. The first movie we watched was Toy Story 4 (TS4) on Blu-ray. Even though the movie is 1080p. The tv was able to upscale the movie to 4K and the picture was amazing especially with all of the colorful scenery in TS4. I also watched Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan on Amazon which is in 4K...very smooth picture! Having multiple generations of SMART TVs, one can see the progression of smartness in these TVs and the LG set does not disappoint. This TV comes with the latest version of WebOS and offers a computer-like experience on your TV. The cursor-like control mimics a computer pointer on your television. You can now easily enter info with the smart cursor. This is a definite plus instead of having to click through the keypad one letter at a time to enter your search. There are a multitude of APPS right out of box. These include Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, Hulu and Disney+ to name a few. Apple TV is built-in so you can share your photos and videos straight from your iPhone or IPad. If the orientation is not correct, you can fix it right on the TV...very cool. There is also voice command with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. If you are shopping for TVs 80" or larger, I would highly recommend this LG 4K Smart TV. It does not disappoint.

Was very happy with it while it Worked for 1-1/2 days and while viewing it turned off. Repairman said it was fried for No reason. Been waiting on a new one. Looking forward to receiving the replacement and providing an updated review.

The bestbuy really wasn’t helpful the employees didn’t want to carry the tv outside because of how big it was and it came just bubble wrapped there were scratches and the back of the tv was separating at the top from the screen

I purchased the television as a combo with the audio home theater system. The theater system didn't come with any of the accessories and Best Buy refused to help.

The tv was great for the first month. Now it turns off on its own every 20 minutes.

Two broken Tvs were delivered to me. I had to go to Conns to get one.

My Dad signed up for this to see about replacing our projector in the basement. I cannot believe how much better it is! PROS: • Setup was simple • The screen is super bright • Extremely sharp picture • Video games have never looked better • SMART features are abundant • Sound was really good for built-in speakers • Contrast was amazing! The blacks were almost as if the individual pixels were turned off • The remote was very easy to use Cons • The Pointer on the remote was cool, however, it would get out of sync every now and then. Learned that you just had to shake the remote a few and it would reset. • The Menu is a little more clunky than I would like. The SMART features were annoying sometimes and popups or input changes would occur when we did not want them. I learned that the pop-ups are AI recommendations and that I could turn them off. Also, the input changing was a result of HDMI-CEC being turned on. I disabled it and it has not been an issue since. All in all, I am so happy we were selected for this campaign. Because of this TV, I have been playing more video games and making more online friends, which given COVID, has been a wonderful escape!

Tv is defective upon delivery. How disappointing. Now has to exchange again

We ouechased this tv in 2020 feom Best Buy. It has been absolutely wonderful. The picture looks great no matter what we're watching. Colors are vibrant, blacks are very dark, and even though we use an LG soundbar with it, the built-in speakers sound great compared to most tv speakers I’ve heard. I honestly can't think of any negatives to this TV. The only thing I'd suggest is keeping the styrofoam that the TV comes packaged in. It can really help protect it if you ever move.

Overall this a decent TV but it is not perfect. This TV is replacing a 65” Bravia in my family room. The Bravia uses Android as the OS which allows far more applications to be run directly on the TV but it is clunky and slow. This TV uses WebOS and IMO it is inferior to Android (Sony) and Tizen (Samsung). The apps available on WebOS are seriously lacking. I use FuboTV in lieu of cable and it is not supported on WebOS, HBOMax is not available on WebOS and there are several others we’ve noticed are not available. Due to the limited application support the smart features of this TV are essentially worthless to me and I use a Roku instead. The picture on this TV is as good as you can expect using an IPS panel. The picture is certainly better than the picture on the 65” Sony it replaced; however, it is not as good as the picture on my 75” Samsung QLED. I really wanted a Samsung 8 series 85” QLED TV and originally planned to purchase one until I learned that the viewing angle on the Samsung is not great which would be an issue in my family room. If you are not in need of a wide viewing area, I would recommend spending the extra money and getting the Samsung. I absolutely hate the magic remote. Luckily I am using a Roku and don’t need to use the Magic remote often, if I did the magic remote would be a borderline deal breaker for me and I would have returned the TV. All in all, I am satisfied with this TV despite its flaws. If the Samsung Q8 is out of your budget or you require a wide viewing angle I recommend this TV so long as you can live with the flaws.

I bought this TV roughly 4 months ago and can say without a doubt it is the best Tv i have ever owned. The picture is so crisp and clear!!! It really is like having my own theater in my living room. All of my friends are amazed by it as well. This TV makes my house the number one place for parties! The tv is very slim in design which is great considering it's massive screen size. (I bought the 86".) I would certainly recommend it to everyone.

great tv, remote was what sold me laser arrow worked great.

About as good as you can get to an oled without spending s ton of money. Ive had it for about 2 1/2 years now and still runs great.
