The black are blacker on the Sony tv. This LG is $200 cheaper so if you want to keep it under $2K get the LG but in my onion if you already spending all this money you might as well get the best one and Sony is it.

White background lines when screen is solid color!

We returned one of these already which was worse - got a replacement from BBY (BBY was outstanding btw) which also has lines (though not as bad). The apps, WEBOS things is great though - picture when have lots of colors looks great and don't see lines - but do when screen is moving with a solid color. I would avoid this TV - saw online this is an issue with OLED LG tv too (search in Youtube) not just this Nano thing. Maybe sony or samsung would be better. Will likely just keep this as too much effort to do another return - but pretty disappointed having that issue on a brand new tv.

You get what you pay for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the tv about two weeks ago, worked fine for a few days then got a line up the middle of dead pixels. Best Buy picked it up brought me a new one. Set it up and the entire left side of the screen was fried. Been an LG advocate for years. Read reviews of this one and found out a lot of people are having problems with these tv's. (Pixel line, TV randomly shutting off) Getting my money back and going to look at either Sony or Samsung. I got this tv because it had Dolby Atmos, Dolby vision, the new HDMI 2.1 ports and ARC. The cheapest Sony or Samsung 85 inch to have all that was another thousand dollars. Long story short. You get what you pay for. Only reason I gave it an extra star is because if you get it and the screen is fine the picture quality is incredible. Won't be buying LG anymore after this.
