Absolutely love it. Monster 86" LG TV. Has both Netflix and Amazon Video buttons on the remote for fast navigation. Can program shortcut buttons to other apps (YouTube, etc.) on the remote as well. Color and clarity of the screen is phenomenal and the price is unbeatable for the size. I've mounted this tv on the livingroom wall with an adjustable mount the can be extended from the wall up to two feet for angling the Tv more left or right. Ive had the tv for 7 months -- Love it!

Amazing price offer for an 86" behemoth TV

This is a cautious 5 stars (4.5 stars is more appropriate). This TV fulfills my objective of getting a pretty decent gaming TV with the following characteristics: 4k, 120 Hz, and 85"+, all while being under $1500 (another website was selling for $1450, so I got bestbuy to price match from their $1500, as an FYI). The size is absolutely amazing. I wouldn't have had it any smaller. I would rather have a really good 86" TV than a really really good 75" TV. Size matters. I have an RTX 3080 Graphics Card that can do 4K at 120 Hz. The new Xbox SX and PS5 will be able to do that, too. Make sure you're using a legit HDMI 2.1 cable, and you may have to update the TV's firmware to ensure you can do 4k at 120 Hz. First off, I am not a TV buff. I just eyeballed some reviews, saw that there were very few other 85" TVs that matched this price, and went with it. I can tell that this TV maybe doesn't have the best contrast. When I play some games, I maybe notice that in dark environments, it may not do as well as I'd like. Then again, I haven't ever had a super expensive TV to compare to. In brighter environments, it's fine. I admit, I haven't played around too much with the TV's picture settings, other than putting it on game mode. I think rtings.com is a website which gives some good advice on adjusting the settings. So basically, my contrast/darks aren't the best, but maybe I can calibrate it some more. Even still, it won't compare to a TV that costs $3000. That's why you're paying $1450. Still, whether I'm playing Microsoft Flight Simulator (which looks amazing on this TV), COD MW/Warzone, etc, having a TV that's this big is too hard to believe. I use this as my desktop monitor. I'm not someone that cares about getting an actual gaming monitor. I just want something that's massive, and for $1450, this is great. Could the quality be a bit better? Sure. Do I care that much? Not really, b/c when you look at the competition, you're talking about spending 2 or 3 grand, easily, for the best quality. It's like the difference between getting something that's an 8/10 and something that's a 10/10. Would I change my decision? No. And that's the point of my review. You're paying $1450 for an absolute behemoth of a TV, and if you aren't super particular about contrast/blacks. you'll fall in love with it. Now whenever I look at any TV that's smaller (even 75"), I can't help but notice how much smaller they feel, having upgraded from a 55".

My stand isn’t big enough for this so I got this Tv mount from Fitueyes stands tv if your tv stand isn’t wide enough. the 40 to 80 inch one fits it fine if you are wondering. Trust me it will work! The tv is HUGE and the quality is exceptional, I replaced it with a 4K 70 inch 60 Hz and since the new Tv is 120 Hz and BIGGER! My timing is off in MLB the Show when I play it since the picture and playback is so much better! This is a Excellent tv! I got it paired with a onn sound bar and sub which sounds good but I plan on getting a Bose sound bar and sub to have the mountain top!

This TV has worked flawlessly for over 3.5 yrs. Are there units with better quality? Of course- but not at that price point. I probably would have given 5 stars, but like with so many tv’s these days, the sound is not good. A sound bar is a must. That’s a shame. But we do enjoy the tv.

86” tv 18500 series and it looks great on our wall. With 14’ ceilings it is not too large and we are sitting about 18’ away from where it is mounted. Perfect! I liked being able to choose a scheduled delivery at a time that was convenient for us through Best Buy appointment manager. All employees we talked to were very pleasant and we are enjoying figuring out all the new features. We are using it with a Bose sound system to enhance the audio quality.

Wow, this is a big tv. It looks really good, easy to setup and the remote control is interesting because it kind of works like the gun in the old Nintendo Dick Hunt game. LG should make a duck hunt game to go with it. Anyway, the only downside so far is there isn't native app support for HBOMax or the Spectrum Streaming app, so you need to get them with another device. Hopefully that will be fixed sometime in the future.

Great price, great picture, easy setup! I have been watching 4K TV prices looking for one larger than 80" (to replace a projector system that has a 106" display), and when I saw this one for <$1500 - I went for it. I have 2 smaller LG's and I like their image quality and ease of use. We also love the "magic remote". Setup of the LG is also very easy - with much of what one used to do manually done automatically.

The image clarity and quality on this TV is great. My favorite thing about LG's is the magic remote. The pointer style makes typing when signing in and out of accounts a breeze versus other brands where this takes so long. We had planned on purchasing a soundbar with this TV but did not even need. The only reason I am not giving it a full 5 stars is because some of the apps we need are not available to this TV. Not sure if it is an LG thing but we have another brand of smart TV and we can get any app on that one but there are many we cannot on this one. Still very happy with our purchase.

Great tv, upgraded after our 3 year 70" vizio backlights decided to go out, its massive and picture quality is good because of the 120hz refresh rate, its not the the top of the line so don’t expect perfection on black colors. The cool factor is the size of the unit and the 120hz making shows and movies look like live soap operas. Am pleased with my purchase so far!!

Excellent so far - TV picture quality and size is awesome and I am happy with its smart capabilities and ease of use. Love the cursor/pointer remote which makes navigating so much quicker and easier. Coming from an owner of several Samsung TVs, LG is definitely in the game and keeping up with technology and apps. BTW - there is no such thing as a TV that is too big

Not crazy about a TV that can record audio and video, but it's the perfect size for the man cave. I won't connect it to the internet (I'm using it with my over the air antenna and Roku player), and am looking into other ways to dumb it down. The picture is great even better when using the cinema or sports video modes. It's really heavy, there was no way my wife and I could mount it on the wall, I had to get help.

We recently built a new home with a LARGE bare wall for a wall-mount TV. We knew we needed a large format TV for this space on a budget. I researched and researched but got completely confused between QLED, OLED, UHD, Crystal UHD and all the other variations available in large format TVs. I read reviews, watched videos and found most were filled with useless details for my purposes. I finally gave up, settled on this one and ordered it, had my husband pick it up from curbside the next day. We mounted it to the wall using a heavy duty mount and turned it on. EASY to use, right out of the box. I love the magic remote. Tons of options from cable input to free internet TV to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu and more built right in. Takes a few minutes to learn your way around all the options and how to get to the cable setting, but once we worked with it, it became pretty intuitive. The picture is CRYSTAL CLEAR! High def is seriously high definition. Great viewing from all angles in our living room. Sound is good (but we hooked it up to surround sound for a better experience). I like displaying the painting/artwork option when it is idle (my husband thinks it's gimmicky though). I would absolutely purchase this model again. The colors are super-vivid, dark scenes aren't over-dark. We broke out our most color-rich DVD immediately and weren't disappointed. We don't have this TV parked right up against another (and really, who does?), so I can't comment on how this compares to other models, but if you want a great large format TV with all the features without taking out a second mortgage, this one will definitely work for you!

My priority was a big screen TV. I went over many Samsung Q series, and LG Nano series TVs that are 75'' and are under a 2K price point. Both brands are premium budget TVs, with slower processor and lower refresh rate. On the other hand this is a more advanced non premium model that offers most value and processing than these models. Another thing to notice is that there will be little to no difference when you bring these specific models home and hook up with cable or stream. One key thing to note is that LG is a good Bring room tv. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I have only watched a few things so far but this thing is awesome. I have a large wall and a big stereo and it fits perfectly. I had to build a new entertainment center but now everything is the way I want it and it looks perfect. I already had a 40" 4k LG which I liked a lot. This one adds a few more features. The new eARC is cool but with the cable I bought, it would lose sound if I paused. I could unplug and then replug and it would work fine??? I bought a blue jeans hdmi which is supposed to be good, at least I thought. I bought a new higher speed cable which was cheaper and it works fine. I still do not like true motion as it makes stuff look fake to me but the native 120hz looks great.

Great TV for the price. Easy to set up. To stream to this tv you need a chromecast, roku, etc, or if theres a compatible app in the lg store or screen mirror from eligible device. Seems like the processor in the tv lags very seldomly, but not enough to be a nuisance.
