I was actually advised against this by some die-hard AV enthusiasts because it lacked full array backlighting, which they said was necessary at this size. I decided to go with it anyways and I'm very happy I did. I have it in a basement without a lot of ambient light and the picture quality is great. 4k videos are fantastic and the upscaling on regular HD works extremely well. I hooked it up to a Samsung Soundbar by HDMI and it works great, I can control the volume by the TV remote (I was worried about mixing brands but they work great together). The remote itself is pretty awesome too, it can work like a remote so I've used it to browse the web on the TV. Overall very happy with this TV, particularly at the price.

Wonderful large Flat screen TVs at a fair price. I also love that Best Buy has a price match policy, so I can be confident that I am getting a good price in the market place. Picture is great and easy to operate. Shopping at Best Buy is convenient and the staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. Very happy with their products. And, there are always lots of choices of products. Delivery was also wonderful. The two gentlemen who delivered were courteous and very willing to bring the TV where we needed it. Delivered as promised, on time and in good shape.

I use mostly for my PS4, it has an amazing image with 4k HDR, ease to setup. It was hard to hang on the wall though, almost 100lbs and super large (77" x 44")

Every movie or TV show has looked spectacular with this TV. Not to mention the speakers on this are good as well! I wasn’t expecting the speakers to have the capability to hit low and sound full, but it does. Gives me time to save for a good quality soundbar system now. Only complaint I have is the confusing “webOS” software the TV uses, as it is difficult to navigate around if you are new to it. But I solved it by using the voice control from the remote. Though you do have to be specific, otherwise it won’t know what to look for. I was was looking for HDMI CEC controls, and LG calls theirs “SimpLink”. I couldn’t find it anywhere in the general settings, so I eventually asked the voice assistant “SimpLink” and it took me to the menu of general settings. I thought it had worked but I still didn’t see the setting. So I then said “SimpLink Settings” and it had taken me directly to the setting page. I was happy, but they definitely could make it less confusing to navigate around. Other than that, the TV is amazing! Definitely recommend.

Where to start, where to start- Okay- this TV "ROCKS"! Look at it-- what more needs to be said-- it's 86" ! It's an LG !, It's 4K UHD ! Picture is crystal clear, We added the LG sound bar- and although the TV Sound is crisp and clear- gotta have the sound bar. Some People will say - "86" -that's to big"--- but--when is the last time you went to a movie theatre and said to yourself - the screen is to big?-- Just do it-- buy this TV and you will never have regrets.

First of all, this t.v. is large. It's quite beautiful and easy to set up. I had zero issues setting it up with my series x or ps5. They both recognize the 4k at 120 hrz. The TV automatically configured for games and even shows up as PS5 or XBOX instead of the standard HDMI 1/2/3/4. Nice touch. Setting up the buttons as shortcuts was nice and configured all my apps in just half an hour. TV is large but once in place it just feels perfect. Wifi works great too. Once connected it stayed connected. Only once did it disconnect but it might have been my router.

After a bit of adjustments with the color, contrast, brightness, and picking the best viewing mode, it looks Great!. The magic remote is cool, very easy to use once you get the hang of it. I bought Tv on sale and saved $750. The speakers on it sound really good. But I bought a jbl sound bar w/free 10inch subwoofer for it. Which I bought on sale for $199. Great sound bar. The jbl sound bar makes TV viewing much more enjoyable. If you can get this TV on sale, get it. You will not be disappointed. I am very happy with this purchase! Nice!

First time owning an LG tv and wow, very impressed. Image is very clear and the colors look awesome. You can’t beat the price!

The tv was wonderful at first but after the first couple weeks there was a day when the tv wouldn’t turn on. Unplugged it and plugged and tried again but nothing. Tried the button under the standby light and nothing. Left it as I was frustrated and a while later came back and it worked. Was happy it did but now I’m concerned. There have been a couple occasions where there was no volume too. Turned the tv on and off and the sound came back. It’s working and I love the picture. Gorgeous. Tons of options to manually adjust to get it just how you like. And lots of connectivity options and ability to control by phone via wifi. The LG remote even controls my fire tv. It’s great. But I’m always worried there will be another glitch

This TV is huge! Upgraded from a 75” TCL and we are very satisfied. We have it hooked up to a soundbar so have never used the built in audio. Picture is clear and crisp. We immediately tested with Planet Earth 4K and were very pleased. Great color. Slight backlighting noticed on movies with the black bars but couldn’t justify another $1000 for the Nano Series. For the price we are extremely happy!

I purchased this TV at an outstanding and the hardest part was getting it out of the box. It’s a massive package and I would suggest having a couple extra sets of hands. The picture and functions are great. The OS updates often to add new apps. You’ll want a sound bar/surround sound system to get the best use of this display.

Not everything is scaled to 4K some applications are not supported like YouTube.... overall solid purchase most disappointed that I didn’t wait longer to purchase at a lower price. Most like the picture, PS4 compatibility, menu accessibility, remote, & slim sleek design. Most disliked is the sound could be a bit better will definitely be purchasing a sound system soon. Also should be an option to close applications that run in background. Greatly slows down preformance and have to manually restart every time

This tv is large and in charge! I The picture quality is great and the internal speakers are actually pretty good. 120hz refresh rate! The LG content store has most every app you could want with the possible exception of HBO MAX as of the time of this review but hopefully they will add that eventually. Remote is pretty good.

Let me start off by saying I had thisnproduct delivered to my house. The guys who delivered it were very professional and kind. They were also on time and very quick, so thank you for that! Now to the TV itself... we upgraded from a vizio 60in HD tv that is 7 years old, this TV BLOWS THAT TV OUT OF THE WATER! The picture is beautiful of course I have seen better but those Tv's are VERY expensive and what you pay for this TV (I paid $1731 after tax) it is well worth the money, not to mention the pure size of it. It almost feels as though I have a small cinema in my home especially if you have surround sound! There are multiple picture settings to choose from most of them are too dark if you're in a bright room we just leave it on "vivid" and the picture is almost perfect. Gaming is also very awesome on this TV... The speakers that come with the TV sound pretty good but if you have external speakers there is no comparison. If you're on the fence about this TV or others this TV doesn't disappoint and I have ZERO regrets.

We’re very happy with our tv. Great picture, sound, and the controls are easy to use. Really like the ease of the remote control. Plenty of content in the LG App Store & have all the ones we used regularly. All in all very satisfied with our purchase.

It’s not the best tv in its segment. It’s not the brightest tv in it’s segment. But for its price point, it’s excellent. Know what you’re buying. The picture is crisp and clear. It’s easy to use. 86 inches looks great on the wall. Bada bing, bada boom.

Had this set up in my living room for about a week now. It replaced a 2018 65'' Vizio p seires. Right of the bat its huge. Out of the box the settings were trash. ISF calibrated dark is the one to choose. love the voice feature of the remote but the pointer/mouse thing is taking a bit to get use to. The screen is really reflective compared to the vizio we have to watch with lights off. I have a surround sound system so i cant comment on the quality of the speakers. 4k is awesome! 1080p is great, and any content under that youll start to see a blurry picture. Will plan to have it calibrated ASAP.

My father in law and I put the TV up on the wall, and when we plugged it in it was not working. A panel was busted from what looked like a screw (manufacturer, not from mounting) was put in too tight at the bottom the screen. Was pretty bummed about it but Best Buy was able to replace and exchange very quickly. Was able to get my NFL Fantasy Draft Party in on it; it's very easy to set up. Huge TV and the recent deals made us feel even better about the purchase!

I'm very happy with the television. At 86 inches its the biggest TV I've ever owned. The colors are great, and the 120 refresh rate makes for smooth motion during fast moving action scenes/sports etc. Its wall mounted in my living room and it makes all my furniture look small.
