Excellent external player with almost everything.

This player would have six stars if it only was usb 3.0. the fact that it was on sale not mention the quality of craftsmanship this LG. Blu-ray DVD re-writer with hookups," made my day". Once I learn how to transfer pictures from my phone I will show my whole gaming computer set up with one of these reviews.

Good for backing up movies

So far, so good!

Rare enough that I'm still giving it 5 stars and hoping there will be another driver update that will take care of the ones it can't read. I've only owned it two months, so here's hoping it has a nice long lifespan!

Needed a BluRay Drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In the past, I've done videos of shows and with the sizes of digital recordings, to put them on a DVD would require spanning multiple disks. With the advent of BluRay, I'm not able to put an hour long show on a single disk with high resolution. Great external BluRay drive to get the job done!
