I like it but, one thing is it has two usb connectors that you have connect and my laptop only has one usb port available, reason for loss of one star. I get it, it needs more power but its hard when ones laptop only has one port available. You have to connect to power source or get an extra device to connect extra usb port.

I wish they would eliminate the slide out tray, too many things can go wrong with it. That being said, my last LG External Dvd player didn't have the slide out tray and it quit working after 3 months. Had to send it to LG for replacement "if they didn't find any damage" still haven't heard if they will replace it or not. This one so far so good.
