Player claims to play BluRay, but you have to go to a third party website ti get out (LG will help you get there); then you have to go back to Apple and load more software for it to run. Go figure1

It worked right out of the box with only one of the two USB plugs, this may be of dependant. It worked with windows 10. Does not include software to play blu-rays; which doesn't make sense, but i see you can download a few options online.
