I finally was able to watch movies but found out that you do NOT want to move the DVD player while a movie is playing. If you do so, the movie you're watching will need to synch again. The quality of the picture is great.

Fast portable Blu-ray drive

I also purchased a usb-c to micro usb for proper power and since many new devices use usb-c win win.

I need a burner with my new iMac, but...

It was recommended by the Best Buy associate. But Macs don't support BluRay, and the extra money was a waste. I could have just used a CD DVD burner.

Great Drive

Mental error, I was going to use the player/burner from my old system, oops, it's IDE, new system only accepts SATA. No internet to download (cuz it's a clean system), no way to get Win8.1 installed........ except..... bingo. Drive saved my rear. Worked like magic. Thank you LG!

We still need Blu-Ray and DVD Burners

This solves that problem, kinda.(Thsi product needs two USB ports, and my laptop only has one on either side, so I had to get creative to make it work.) Once that problem was solved, I can state this product works great. Reads and burns just fine.
