great small sized external reader/writer

It does take up TWO USB ports, so best to buy a powered USB 3.0 hub if you don't have the ports available. At 8x it is not the fastest on the market so make sure your media is compatible for writing.

High quality PC hardware

I was so impressed that I decided to buy the more advanced unit. The build quality is excellent. The drive tray opens with an button click. The tray smoothly slides open and closed. Win 10 recognized the blu ray as soon as I connected it to my new laptop. Highly recommended.

Does Its Job Well

I'm more than pleased with the quality of this little device, which I purchased on sale. It does exactly what it says it will, and does it quickly. I don't write to any DVDs or Blu-Rays, but the read speed and quality are first rate.

This device works verywell with my Mac Pro Laptop.

He traded the Apple device for an LG device, external USB2.0Blu-ray that worked perfectly with my Apple Mac Pro Laptop.
