The only thing I don't like about it is the software that comes with it. Lots of bugs, so I uninstalled it and installed another player app.

Works well. I changed the firmware so that it can read UHD discs with MakeMKV.

Love it, for a cheap plug in recorder, it does a great job and it is quit too!

I bought this so I’d have an external dvd reader/writer that would also read blu-early discs. This does exactly that. Very quiet & hasn’t failed to read a disc yet

Works great as a player or burner, with one exception. Included software will not play Blue-Ray disc. You must first upgrade software. Found 3rd party software that worked better than enclosed disk.

This burner is a great product. It loads fast and is fairly quiet for an external unit. I only wish it was a little heavier so i didn't have to hold it to close it. Operation is perfect!

I use this mostly to play CDs and DVDs and it works great with my MacBook Pro. I have not tried to copy anything yet, so I can not tell about that yet. Great price.

It did exactly what it said it would. Not much too it, and that’s the great part about it.

I thought i would use this more but its tucked out of the way the only thing 8 would change is make the cords longer

Very Good external DVD+RW/CD-RW Rewriter. Bought this because I was having trouble with my computers DVD drive and it's been working great.

No installation instructions made for a tricky set up, but A quick search of the good ol' interweb got us up and running in no time. Download a Blu-ray software manager for your Mac and it comes to life.

Works great, but requires additional software to work with my Mac. Good Blu Ray software can be hard to find if free, or expensive.

I got the LG - 8x External USB 2.0 Blu-ray Disc Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Disc Rewriter - Black because my laptop did not come with a DVD or Blue-ray. With it being USB I can attach it to any computer or TV pretty much and use it.

On the flimsy side and not self-explanatory on uses. No direction.

Make sure you have a powered USB hub or the like. Works fairly well with the iMac, but does have issues waking up when attempting to eject with the front panel button, but not an issue.

This disc player is playing great. I had purchase another one off from another and it would not player new blu-rays. Price was also cheaper at Best Buy.

Very good product. It has the dual USB plugs for servers that require both to be connected for power to the device. It writes very fast to CD, DVD and Blu-ray. I have not had any issues with it in the 2 months I had it. I give it a thumbs up! :)

The software that comes with it is old and does not work in Windows 10. Had to spend $69 for newer software so it now it works.

great drive just get a different bluray player software ifvusing windows 10 the software that came with it wont play a bluray on windows 10 just kept saying need a hd monitor im using 4ktv hooked up hdmi nivida geforce graphics card

Purchased this item to replace a different one that I bought online. It keep disconnecting from my laptop. This LG never disconnects & I haven't had any issues with it. It's a great product for the price.
