I had purchased another blu-ray player to work with my new Dell desktop that has WIn10. The blu-ray disc wouldn't play smoothly; therefore, I returned the player. I then purchased the LG Blu-ray player and it plays flawlessly on my computer.

It works well. However the split USB is annoying. Not sure why they need to have two cables for a simple device.

It's one of the better external optical drives that I have tried but the associated software is a nightmare.

I am using it with my new MacBook Pro, 13" (2015). I was concerned that it would need the two Usb connectors to function while writing to DVD. So far it works great. There are some other brands that received bad reviews so I decided to try this one.

Very good unit. Very easy to hook up. Plug and use. I like the portable size of the unit. Have not used Re-writable feature yet. A little pricy.

Works well. Some concern with the disc sounding like the unit did not keep a constant cadence. However, reads quickly but not seemingly quickly

Purchased this to use with my MAC. The sales person said this would do everything I needed and interface easily to the MAC, which it did. Works perfectly!

I use large spreadsheets and crunch lots of data. Fast and powerful, but nice a light for all my business travel. The tablet feature is starting to takeover some of the functions of my tablet.

I purchased the LG since my new Dell came with only 1 internal cd drive and I enjoy copying music cd for personal use and backing up personal files. Once I figured out how to best use it with Roxio, I have been very pleased with the LG drive.

Included software is very good haven’t tried to burn anything yet

This has been super useful, very quiet and convenient also interface is simple.

This 4K player only plays discs. It has no smart features. If you have a streaming player or a smart tv then this is a great player for your 4K discs.

Replacing a previous Pioneer receiver that had a failed HDMI output. This was an easy setup, I wish it had a couple more inputs but at the price it is fine. Sound is good and picture is clear.

I had bought a Pioneer and returned it. This LG is quieter than the Pioneer and plays DVD and Blu Ray discs without any issues. Just make sure you have the correct software to play the discs if you have a windows 10 machine.

I had bluray discs laying around that I bought a long time ago and was finally able to use them and back up my pictures to store someplace else just in case.

Will work on an Mac but you have to pay extra for the program. The one included works with windows.

Not only is this LG External USB Blu-ray DVD±RW/CD-RW Disc Rewriter a great buy - it even has software included that allows one to play DVD on Windows 10 without having to purchase any additional software.

No major complaints so far. It works just as it should, and the setup was simple. I will say that for the price it feels a little cheap (the plastic is thin and doesn't seem very durable), so I made sure to buy a case to protect it.

Thon and reliable Blu-ray player. Great adding to my computer.

Thought this was capable of playing Blu-Ray. But the software wants you to purchase a upgrade to be able to do it. Other features still work great. Use if for a laptop that does not have a CD/DVD.
