Superb quality. Perfect storage size, Sturdy and easy to use.

My laptop did not have a DVD drive. I purchased LG-8x Blue-ray Double-layer to install TurboTax. Also, can use it to look at movies on DVD. I like the product.

Excellent unit and about as easy to use as you can imagine. Haven't burned any bluray yet, but dozens of normal CD's Plays movies like a dream.

I purchased this for my Windows 10 laptop assuming all I had to do was plug it in and it would work. Not so. Windows does not have a free blu ray decoder. Fortunately, you can download pretty good players for free. The one I got was a little glitchy around menus, but payed fine. The drive works just fine.

I love how slim and sleek this is. It sits nicely on top of my computer and works really well. Haven't had any issues so far!

This is a light, portable and convenient blu-ray player. The quality is not the highest, but should perform well if taken care of. I notice the tray is a little flimsy so be careful when it's open. Other than that, not much more to say. Oh, and I wished the software was a better quality, not a very basic and generic type.

This is a great drive to have. It was easy to install and use on my laptop. Also the slim size makes it easier to travel with.

The writer works great and the discs play in any Blu-ray player. Writes very quickly and no problems with compatibility with my computer. The only issue is with where the cord plugs into the writer. The jack is only soldered on and broke off with not much force when plugging it in. Had to buy a new one because of this issue.

I had some files that had to write for a halloween party my lg blu ray burner did the trick.

I would recommend this External drive as a tool to rewrite your data for secure storage. It is remarkably fast, secure and portable.

wanted a stand-alone 4k blu-ray player but wasn't willing to invest $200 in a good one ... so i purchased this instead as i can use it as a blu-ray player and i can now do large backups and not limited to whatever flash drive or hard drive i have laying around ... bonus: the cyberlink software is glichy on install but works great once setup i also waited until it was on sale before buying too ... worth every penny

Great little portable Blu-ray device. External power supply not needed, utilises USB. Quiet, simple, very thin, easily stowed.

I purchased this drive to back up my blu-ray collection. It works great and is compact, overall it looks really good too. Like at least one other reviewer, I can say that it does feel like it could have been built a little more sturdy but I am not complaining at all. I wanted to point this out as others may purchase and feel that it is too flimsy. I am careful with my things though, so this is not an issue. For software, I use MKV and Handbrake, which work great!

Excellent hard ware that both plays blu ray and DVDs and allows you to copy your own media! I highly recommend as it is durable and a small form factor.

Plays DVD and Blu-rays without any issues, good price.

The drive itself seems to work great, though like most external drives (or even laptop drives, back when they had them) a bit noisy. The software is a bit old and constantly nags to pay to upgrade but mostly works fine with Windows 7 (blu ray discs that use java don’t seem to run as well).
