This is a very good player. I can play all my Blu Ray and DVD movies. CD music too. Easy to setup.

This external drive runs quiet and quick. I replaced a one year old LG drive and I'm hoping this newer model lasts longer. It's sleek and small.

Size is small for this drive. Isnt 100% quiet but once it starts its isnt so loud. Just what i needed for blu rays and DVDs

I really love this blu-ray disk burner. Work has the same model. Purchase for download software patches that no longer fit on a DVD (4 gig) or double side DVD (8 gig). Have only used the 35 gig blank blue ray disk.

There isn't much to say about this item, it is a little loud but it makes up for it with its ease of use and reliability.

The LG Blu-ray drive has been working great. I was concerned by the reviews about the USB power plug pair being too short but I am able to plug the data one into my USB hub and the power one makes it to the power only plug on the end of the unit, so all is good. The video quality using the provided software is excellent and the interface is intuitive and easy to use.

This has been so handy added to my laptop. I can write to DVDs again like I could on my previous laptop. And I can play movies and CDs again on my laptop. My new laptop does not have a DVD unit but this takes care of that for me. It also plays Blu-Ray disks which my other DVD units on previous laptops couldn't. And it works very well.

The drive seems to work fine enough. The software that comes included is an older version of a software you would need to pay $100 for if you purchased the new version. Personally, the software is trash in my opinion, so you will have to contend with either buying software or downloading some other freeware, just know that may be an issue you face as well.

The 3D playback is great as is blu-ray. I've had some trouble on older DVDs that other players I know will play - the device seems to think they are a different region and will not play them.

It felt a little weak, like it could easily break. I ended up keeping it in the original box with the foam padding when not in use. It worked great, although a little loud. Nothing against LG, however I'm REALLY annoyed so many "laptops" are omitting internal optical drives. There shouldn't even be a need for a product like this. A "laptop" with an optical drive, is nothing but an overpriced tablet...

Nice and compact and so helpful. Neither my desktop or laptop have a CD/DVD drive and I like to watch an occasional movie on computer. This little guy works very nicely out of the box. Comes with a disc to install CyberLink media suite.

Works as advertised. Easy to setup and operate. My laptop does not have a burner and this solved my problem. Fast and quiet
