Hook it right up to my computer works great my only complaint is the software keeps advertising to upgrade for a price

When I received this player I put it on my hub and it didn't play correctly, I thought it might be my software and I played around with the settings and that didn't help. SO i moved the various cables to my laptop and hooked the player directly to my machine. I was amazed, everything worked fine. Moral of this is hook it directly to the main unit and it should be fine.It plays very well and gives you a great picture!

I am able to use the DVD player with my new Surface Pro 3. I can pack both devices in my small travel bag and then quickly set up to view DVD's or play CD's.

I bought this external drive to be able to play DVD and Blu Ray movies on my laptop. I used it to load the drivers that came on the disc with the unit. Then played a regular dvd and blu ray movie. Both movies started up and played with no problems. Very simple.

In a day and age when media devices aren't even put into laptops anymore (stupid), this device was exactly what I needed! Works great especially for someone like me who doesn't have high speed access to stream (nothing available) and hotel WiFi that isn't fast enough when traveling.

Haven't needed an external DVD drive for years since they were standard in laptops. Now that laptops are morphing into tablets, no room. So here we go. This device is small and worked well. Not sure how much use it will see but at least I have it if needed. Great value for the price.

It works as one expected ,very good for blu rays ,no issues so far even with extracting files from the discs

Very reliable and FAST drive that easily outdid my previous LG Blu-Ray drive which had run its course of usefulness. I have yet to use it to burn any discs, but ripping them has not brought about any problems.

My Asus - ROG GL502VT 15.6" Laptop didn't come with a dvd burner, so I opted to grab this one from Best Buy and very glad I did! Got to use some of my best buy rewards to help make the purchase, making it even sweeter! Quiet and fast, which is really what I wanted. Couldn't be happier!

I purchased a Microsoft Surface Book. The laptop is great, couldn't ask for anything better. But the one downfall has been a lack of CD drive. Purchased this, and it has proven so helpful. From watching blu-ray movies, to burning discs with photos or music. Everything has worked seamlessly.

It took a while to set the software that comes with this drive up, but it seems to work well . It had a neat tool that told us what kind of blu ray movies my system could run.

I was looking at several brands that were lesser known from several retailers when I found this LG Blu-Ray Drive. It was one of the cheapest available, delivered in two days and works perfectly on my iMac with really no setup.

Requires 2 USB slots. 2.0 or 3.0. Type A slots. Comes with Cyber-Power disk. Worthwhile purchase. Easy to use for the most part. Installation adds some excess software, but nothing to concerning.

Works well, though a little noisy maybe. Good price and supports UHD discs.

Using this LG External device I can watch any DVD, including Blu-ray. This technology allows the newer Blu-ray DVDs and older DVDs to be read. It brings my older PC forward to today's better DVDs!

Love it, fast drive, plug and play. Bought a second one for my laptop. Included software is excellent. Drive works well with Fedora Linux

Worthwhile if you don't mind an external drive. It hums a bit as the discs are spun up, and sometimes that kinda gets in the way, but I came into this expecting that sorta thing. Still worthwhile if you don't have any other choices available to you.

I was a little hesitant about an LG as I was looking to get the Pioneer that ended up not being in Stock. This LG worked out great! It comes prepackaged with software, is compact and operates with little noise. I definitely recommend!

Working fine so far. Slim profile makes it easy to store for travel. Depending on your power supply capability it may need TWO USB ports. I've been using it to watch rental movies while traveling, so I've chosen to use it with power outlets nearby to be able to charge my laptop.

It help to take all my photos and data. this is very slim and handy. you can carry anywhere and easy to use. everyone should have this one to back up all you everlasting data.
