Sets up easily with a computer. I tried to play a Blu-ray on the unit, but it did not support it. Not sure if it was just the disc. It works well with DVD's. Have not tried burning yet.

It’s a little slow, but for the price you can burn some Blu-ray Discs and the videos I’ve burned on them look great! Easy to use. Just plug into the usb

This is really nice to have if you want to watch your blu rays on your computer..very easy to install and i like the extra settings that are available

My husband and I both have laptops without disc drives, so we purchased this in order to install programs on our computers with discs as well as to watch movies on our laptops. We had a really hard time installing it on my husbands computer, and then sometimes even tho it is installed correctly on both computers it still won't connect. Overall it works ok, and maybe it is just too technical for us to use. But I do love that we can play blueray movies when it works.

Needed a blu ray drive for my computer to create digital files for my nas. This has been a great plug and play device. Used both my USB plugs on the front of my computer to hook up, so no hassles there. Fairly quiet as well. Highly recommend!

In these days of desktops and laptops with no optical disc readers this little fellow comes in handy when you want to install older software or burn a disc.

Just what the doctor ordered! Needed an external Blu-ray for my imac. Seems to be working fine, no issues so far. It is small enough as to not clutter my desk. Would recommend this item.

Just what I needed. Now that Computers don't come with DVD/Blu-Ray players and RW Disc units, this is what I needed. I was surprised that it was three times the cost of a regular DVD reader, and more than a Blu-Ray Player for our TV, but happy with the purchase.

Love being able to switch this from one system to another. It saves having to copy things back and forth. Had to update the drive though.

Excellent Blu-Ray burner. I bought this for my Windows 7 and it works well with both 7 and 10. The speed in which it burns the discs are also excellent. Highly recommended

I got a new HP laptop and it doesn't have a dvd.player in it and I like Movies and I travel a lot. This is thin and doesn't take up much room. This gives me best of both playing or recording. I can do everything CD's, DVD and Bluray. It is great.

My laptop doesn't have a DVD port so I bought this and it really is convenient, doesn't make noise like my other laptop with DVD port does. All it need is one cable to connect to the computer and can be used also on the TV like a DVD player.

Small slimline blueray player. Works reliably. In the media industry it is mandatory to have ability to burn Blue Ray media and data disks. This has worked flawlessly for the last month. I use it almost every day.

This is a great device if you laptop does not have a dvd player in it just plug and play.

I have two laptops, both with disc drives. One is a bit messed up, and the other doesn't work at all. I see that the newer laptops, which I will eventually purchase, no longer have them built in, so I decided to try this one. For the most part is works fine. I was able to rip some CD's and burn a couple. No problem, except that it is a bit slower than the ones I had in my laptops. That's just something I have to get used to.

It burns the rays of blu on to disks when I need blu rays burned. What's not to like about that. Requires two USB ports to power which is a plus if you consider it doesn't need a power supply.
