I know! why aren't you streaming? Well there are some times when a Blue-ray movie and all the extra features are what you really want. The DVD player in my laptop was failing and was DVD. Now I have a small portable device that set up quickly and works very well.

It works as it supposed to, wrote on a few disc and copied 1 home movie. So far no coasters. Using it as a Blu-Ray player works great, no hick-ups yet.

Fast, thin/compact, and reliable. Worth the investment if purchased with a pc a discount will be applied. Easy to setup and use

I received a new laptop computer for Christmas. I came without a disk drive so, I purchased this one. I highly recommend it as it works great. Easy to use simply plug it in and start using it.

Would have been nice if it did not take two USB ports to power the darn thing! Other than that, price was reasonable and it does what I need it to.

This is a good drive, nothing special, but gets the job done without issue. I like to rip my blu-rays to convert with handbrake and put it on a Plex server, and this is my go-to device for doing that.

The first few days I had it it seemed to work fine, but now as of two days ago it started to scratch my disks (I don't know why it's been doing that). It's too late to return now so I am stuck with either a faulty product or got delivered a dud and it has now started to act up. For $85, it's not bad, but it may scratch your discs if that's something you're worried about. I wish I knew a way to fix it from not scratching my discs now.

Sets up easily with a computer. I tried to play a Blu-ray on the unit, but it did not support it. Not sure if it was just the disc. It works well with DVD's. Have not tried burning yet.

Needed a blu ray drive for my computer to create digital files for my nas. This has been a great plug and play device. Used both my USB plugs on the front of my computer to hook up, so no hassles there. Fairly quiet as well. Highly recommend!

I got a new HP laptop and it doesn't have a dvd.player in it and I like Movies and I travel a lot. This is thin and doesn't take up much room. This gives me best of both playing or recording. I can do everything CD's, DVD and Bluray. It is great.

My laptop doesn't have a DVD port so I bought this and it really is convenient, doesn't make noise like my other laptop with DVD port does. All it need is one cable to connect to the computer and can be used also on the TV like a DVD player.

It’s so much faster than a standard external dvd drive. It’s relatively quiet and doesn’t overheat.

It’s a little slow, but for the price you can burn some Blu-ray Discs and the videos I’ve burned on them look great! Easy to use. Just plug into the usb

This is really nice to have if you want to watch your blu rays on your computer..very easy to install and i like the extra settings that are available

My husband and I both have laptops without disc drives, so we purchased this in order to install programs on our computers with discs as well as to watch movies on our laptops. We had a really hard time installing it on my husbands computer, and then sometimes even tho it is installed correctly on both computers it still won't connect. Overall it works ok, and maybe it is just too technical for us to use. But I do love that we can play blueray movies when it works.

Love the fact that I can play my Blu-ray discs on my computer and or tv. Plus it's plug and play.

Small slimline blueray player. Works reliably. In the media industry it is mandatory to have ability to burn Blue Ray media and data disks. This has worked flawlessly for the last month. I use it almost every day.

In these days of desktops and laptops with no optical disc readers this little fellow comes in handy when you want to install older software or burn a disc.
