    Now that Tablets (a.k.a. Laptops) are no longer coming with CD/DVD players, this is a quintessential peripheral to have. It does almost everything! Great investment and great price!

    I watched a few minutes of Blu ray and listened 2 a CD just 2 check it out nice pic and sound. The new laptop that I purchased did not have DVD RW or player. DVD player is slim and very quite.

    Needed something to burn Blu-Ray disks in a hurry and this was perfect. No software to install, though it does come with video player software. Plug and Play! Requires two USB ports.
